Last run of the month was 6.1 miles taking me to 120.1 MTD. Gooooaaaaalll! By the skin of my teeth. I've got a cut back week next month so I'm only shooting for 110. Making goal this month was stressful :drinker:
Amusing story (I'll force you people to read it to prevent myself becoming that guy with the running stories). I noticed that the Zombies, Run! App had and update today and it had been a while since I played it. So on the spur of the moment I decide to use that instead of Runmeter today. I forgot that every half mile or so so the app has you sprint to "get away from the zombies". So here I am running a middle distance, 6 mile long speed play workout, but I can't seem to convince myself to just ignore the zombie chases. I mean, I can't let them get me, can I?0 -

slowed down once I hit my goal, but I ran another 5 miles this week to end me at 80 MTD0

When looking at mileage for my half training it looks like 160 will be my goal for Sept....we'll see how that goes. lol Hoping to run my second half on Oct 27th.0 -

Well I got in another 14.5 bring my total to a sad 39.4. After the pulled muscle in my hip... I'm okay with that. I'll do better next month. gonna aim a little lower next month. I think I'll try the 50 miles.0

I am at 70 - not reaching my goal of 100, but I am still happy considering my stress fracture at the end of June. NO - I am super excited I can now run on the road - without any pain at the site of the injury! I will still interleave my running with cross training in September. :happy:0
