I am not opting out of this challenge but am having some issues with my knee, so haven't walked for the last 2 days, will try to get back on track tomorrow or Sunday. (will have to discuss it with my left knee to see if it agrees!:laugh: )0

I made my goal of doing at least two 30 min walks today - one in the am and again in the pm. I walked a total of 3 miles in all today and feel great. Tomorrow I hope to get one walk in before I go Zumba at 10:15am.

Wow! We've had a lot of response this month. I'm sorry that I started this and then disappeared, I've been out of town. I walked blisters on my little toes cruisin' around Wea World and the San Diego Zoo and then running around the beach with my little ones. So much fun, but I am one tired little mommy!0

Walked 40 minutes today (also did 10 minutes on the stationary bike).
I've been walking since June 30 and am wondering if my calves will ever stop aching.0 -
I'm in. I just started my journey today and this will keep me motivated to continue. I walked at a brisk pace while pushing my 2 year old in his stroller for 30 minutes this morning. I think I'll stay at 30 minutes for a while before increasing.0

Walked my normal 1.3mile route this morning. managed to increase my pace from 3.09 to 3.18. Not much but any increase is good!

Went for a longer walk yesterday, walked to my mum and dad, had a 20min rest there and a glass of water then walked back. Walked there on the roads and walked back across the fields. Was about 4miles in total. So quite a big jump up from my previous 1.3mile route! Did feel the legs hurting a bit on the way back, but kept going! Was slightly slower than normal on way back, walking at 2.9mph rather than 3 - 3.4mph, but didn't drop too much so pleased with that.
Got up this morning and legs are a little bit achey. Will go for my normal 1.3mile walk later today.0 -

I got in some walking this evening during my bike ride. I had to rest my bum a little on the way home:blushing:0

I went camping last weekend and walked 60 minutes on Friday 8/3, 80 minutes on Saturday 8/4, and 85 minutes sunday 8/5. I have exercised since I got home but no walking yet.0
