I'm going food shopping in a bit, and I'm in a bit of a rut. I get the same foods every time, and though they are tasty, good for me, and low in calorie, I'm getting a bored.

Part skim Mozzarella cheese sticks, almonds unsalted, and eggs! I absolutely must have these in my cart every time, the almonds and the cheese sticks are great snacks post work-out because they have protein punch.0

Little cups of fruit (packed in juice not syrup) or applesauce. They're great snacks for work.0

I always go straight for the fruit on clearance - I've got so many good finds there, like big boxes of oranges, mangos or peaches (today I got a 10-pack of peaches and nectarines for £1.95).0

Watermelon, apples, carrots, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, chickpeas, raw almonds/pistachios/pumpkin seeds/sunflower seeds. And asparagus or spinach, because my husband gets grumpy if we don't have at least one of those a week.0

At the very least, there often seems to be a very diverse collection of apples in whichever store I'm visiting. That keeps me busy.0 -
