I would take the 50% chance on the $100M. If I didn't win I would be no worse off than before so why not?0

Would there be taxes involved?0

People who don't worry about bills/other expenses say money is not that important.

a bird in the hand ...
everytime someone says this my immediate comment is
better than a **** in the *kitten*.
sorry lol0 -
I would take the instant million. I still want to work and do all that fun stuff, but the million would pay off all of my loans, pay for me to get a second degree, and a Ph.D. Pay for my mom to get a nice house and one for myself as well. And pay off my car. Plus more. That's all I would need.0

My thinking is the risk for the 100 million is reasonable compared to the reward. One million dollars I can get myself set up fairly well and/or help a small number of people, 100 million I can work at helping so many more. Well worth taking the chance.0
