Hey B ... you're trip sounds sooooo awesome. I can't believe how good you're being (with the food choices and such). And the shopping? Isn't that what trips are for? One little dessert ... seriously ... just one? I don't see a problem there. I personally am very proud of you.0

This is going to be another busy day, not raining so at least may get a walk in today. Did not get any exercise in yesterday. :grumble:
New Day, going to be good today, sorry snack basket was too much for me yesterday with all the candy they filled it with. :sad:
Sucking it up today, wanted to jump on scale but did not, it was a good fight today :laugh:
Got to get to work but wanted to check in. I am off tomorrow, will get double the exercise in. :drinker: and over week end, have lots of leaves to rake.

Magglett - it's not the food consumption this week that is the problem. It's the "liquid refreshment" (aka drinks) that are truly been my downfall. It's been like "I haven't tried that one before" and "Sure, I'll do a second drink."
Sindy - I'm not doing well on exercise either. I'm walking around the city here... but have not used the fitness center here. Believe me, it's very nice.
I'm going to try some walking today - it is grey & overcast - however - have no idea the distance or length of time.
So that's going to be tough trying to report those minutes.
Kelly, I'll give you a rough estimate for exercise minutes this week.

Got in 40 min on the treadmill last night happy about that. picked up a new web site on ask.com about walking and learning alot about walking to lose weight and have some really great low calories recipes too. It cool.

hey everyone! i am bummed cuz i didn't get my exercise in yesterday..but my eats were clean and right on for calories..... got my laundry done and my bedroom organized....plus grocery shopped. am cleanin the main floor today, 1/2day of school.....already treated my bus kids for Halloween, we have a 3 day weekend! hope everyone has a great Thursday!! aren't we all just so excited for tomorrow and our date with the scale! :bigsmile: skinny vibes to you al! :flowerforyou:0

I am confessing. I had a doctor's appointment yesterday so I had to get on the scale at home so I could guide to an approximate weight. Normally, I have no problem not getting on the scale unless it is weigh in day, which I usually do on Tuesday and Friday. I will try again next week not to get on until Friday. I finally met my OB doctor. I am so excited that I got to hear my baby's heart beat.:happy: It sounded nice and strong. My husband went with me and I think that hearing the baby's heart beat made my pregnancy more real for him. I know it did for me. Eating wise I am struggling with eating my veggies and fruit this week. I am so tired this week and feel very lazy so I want to eat easy food which doesn't include healthy food. I need to go shopping for fruits and veggies again. They never last long enough. My sister is coming for a visit this weekend so I have to get groceries so I can make meals. I am excited about seeing my sister.:happy: I hope everyone is having a great day.:flowerforyou:0

Angie - you had to get on the scale for medical purposes. I say that's OK.

Hey everyone!!
I really wanted to get on that scale this morning. I resisted though. :bigsmile:
The DH and I went for a bike ride last night although by the time I got off work, I really didn't want to. I'm sure it is the change to colder weather, but I really don't want to do much other than go home and curl up with a book. I'm doing it, though. I just don't have to excitement I had before. Tonight I'm going to hit the gym for C25K and some strength training (my Last Chance Workout!!!). I had hoped to go outside for C25K, but it is raining yet again!! I'm so tired of all this rain!!!
With the exception of my cheat meal Sunday, I've had a really good week with my food.0 -
Hang in there Crystal, tomorrow we can get back on the scale, hope it is good news all around :laugh:
It has been raining around here too, did not get a walk in yesterday and I always feel down on those days.
I did get my walk in today, 36 min. :drinker: (not raining today)I will be doing extra exercise for the next 3 days, I am off until Monday. I am at work but dont feel like doing anything because I am off tomorrow. :laugh:
Angie, that is great, it was an eye opener for dh as well. Have a good time with your sister.
Kelly, I know how you feel did not get exercise in yesterday and was very bummed, ended up going a little over on calories. Glad you have a 3 day week end too. I am going to make the most out of it and burn some calories.
Jacque, WTG on exercise. I might get off the bus a couple of stops before mine and walk it. Get a few more min of exercise in today.

Jacque, I hope you didn't manage to talk yourself out of going to the gym. I almost did. I had to come home first to let my dogs out and I was so tempted to just change into my pj's and read instead. I made myself go. I started Week 2 of C25K and actually finished it!!! I'm feeling very proud of myself right now. :bigsmile: I almost threw up :sick: towards the end, but I did it!!! I did it!!! :bigsmile: Now I'm going to fix myself a pita pizza for dinner.0

goin to bed here soon.....it has been rainin since lastnite...must be a pretty big system...i heard they had snow in CO. well, i got in a 25 min treadmill walk/jog. did (3) 5 minute jogs at 3.8 - 4.3 mph. made me sweat like a hot summer day! :glasses: the Thanksgiving fish fry has been CN, mil, bil and nieces sick. might have a date w/hubby now? i want to see This Is It so bad!! feeling like a teen all over again. anyone heard how it is? will be helpin my parents paint their living room and dining room 2morrow. gonna pack my snacks and lunch and hope my ma leaves me alone.... i am anxious to get on the scale.....and hope it shows a loss. not sure since Aunt Flo was here. ok on food, water today.
angie ~ no worries bout the Dr's scale hon....that would be quite the argument tho...:laugh: refuse b/c of some silly internet group named the Smokin Hot Green Peppers! :laugh: so, i guess i would like to ask, all of you.....who all knows that you are on this site? my dh and our sons know, my Dr and a friend. it's almost like a best kept secret!so angie, glad all is well w/baby and have a good time w/ sis!

I made it to the gym!!!! oh the temptation was so great but I am so afraid to see what the scale will say so I force myself to truge on. It kicked my butt too!!:laugh: I did 40 min on treadmill and my legs are not happy but tomorrow I hope will be the reason I did it.
Oh by the way I burned dinner because I was to busy trying to watch TV and cook at the same time, I just love the flashforward show. Well gonna play on face book and then maybe cook dinner tonight for tomorrow, I read if you do this it helps from mood cooking, which I am famous for.0 -

Glad you made it to the gym. I made it to Curves today. After a week of being away from work,..I enjoyed being at Curves.
I did some updates on facebook.
Kelly - Here's my exercise estimates for the week. I did a lot of walking. One day more than others....so for Sunday to Thursday, I'm estimating 280 minutes
