one of my favorite "me time"is listening to music and drawing or designing!0
-
Reading a magazine and getting a manicure. That is a perfect day for me!0
-
Sitting on the beach watching the waves after a nice run when the beach is empty of tourists.0

Candlelit bath is always nice!!
or if I get lucky I get some real mommy time and go to a Zumba class or another fit class with some friends0 -
Playing Guitar, Listing to Music, Movies and Naps0

Red wine, Olympic coverage, open fire, mindlessly surfing the net.0

I have a terrible massage addiction.
A) it helps alleviate my chronic migraines
relieves muscle tension from workout overkill
C) it's relaxing
D) it's a total splurge. they know me by name, i wait in this comfy room designed for maximum relaxation, then i strip down and lie down nearly naked on a WARM massage table and get completely pampered by a guy with no interest in anything other than making me happy so he gets a decent tip from me. it's the one hour every week that i go completely off-grid. no phone calls, no texts, no emails, no demands, just awesomeness.
there's other ways also, but this is becoming a prime choice.0 -
Doing the ironing and watching Midsomer Murders. Guaranteed to ease away stress from even the most awful day.
The only downside comes when there's no ironing left and it's too hot to knit!0 -
a pedicure, listening to music, reading, bubble bath.0

Watching some of my favourite shows, gaming, reading a magazine, nap time. :laugh:0

i maybe the only one here that still will relax by playing video games (although i now do push ups every time we beat a boss, probally would do more if i did them ever time we died though lol) but thats what i do for my me time between doing hte house work, caring for my son, working, and spending time with my wife0

My only me time is when I'm working out. Everything else involves my family in one way or another and I'm so ok with that.0

Great topic! :drinker:
Hmmm...I have a few different options -
Catching up on my soaps at night while eating something super yummy...
Reading a fantastic book while curled up on the couch - bonus points if it is storming...
Cranking up the music and singing (and sometimes dancing) my heart out - one of my favorite choices!0 -
Reading - curled up on the couch with a dog (or two).0
-
Reading, or watching a movie, or getting my nails done.... all my favs!0
-
lame as it sounds, youtube for videos of different types of things I can try at the gym or music for the gym, basically, I have no social life to speak of lol0
-
Reading...and just breathing, all...by...myself...0

Relaxing @ B&N0
-
Relaxing in bed with my dogs and reading my Kindle.0
-
Writing music, playing guitar, going to the movies alone, street photography, or an afternoon nap.0
-
Reading, shopping0
-
Planning for the zombie apocalypse.
But really..taking a nap. A few extra mins of some Zzzz.... does a world of good for this gal!0 -
My workout time is my only regular me time. I get up and take the time or I wont get it later.0

I am soooo going to suggest that to my hubby. Maybe make a game out of it. Play some mortal kombat and whoever dies has to do squats or something!! That is great!! Thank you!!
My me time is soaking in a bubble bath with a good book. That's how I relax when the kids are still running around like nuts. But I do get a little me time every night since I'm an insomniac. I love to watch the late night storms we have been getting lately. Or just cruise Facebook and MFP. My phone gets a huge workout at night. Lol. If I am having real trouble sleeping I turn on my Stormaker app and listen to fake thunderstorms. It works wonders.0
