    I am not terrified of birds. I hate spiders. I am a lot better about them now.. but two things I really hate..... Scorpions and Palmetto roaches.

    Since I moved to Texas I have had a few scorpions get in the garage and the house. I over reacted the first time and completely destroyed a scorpion with a golf club. Later on I discovered that a shoe will do.

    And Palmetto roaches in Florida can read your mind.They fly or run to whatever you don't want them to get on. One time a Palmetto roach ran into my sandal under the arch of my foot. I totally freaked out trying to get the shoe off and then did the heeby jeeby dance like a maniac.

    Another time a Palmetto bug got in the bathroom. I was freaking out and thinking " What if it runs into my toothbrush". Naturally it read my mind and ran onto the toothbrush holder. Another time one was walking on the ceiling above my bed, just when I saw it it fell on me. Those things are horrible. I hate them.

    Birds are okay. I hate geckos. Creatures with transparent bellies are not to be trusted.

    Cows? They're the most docile animals ever.

    I hate pesky birds like crows.

    When I was around 4 I was chased by a yearling bull....it stuck :)

    not in general but weird groups of them or low swooping ones on the highway are freaky!

    birds are fine...some of them even tasty (quail, dove, chicken, turkey)...
    Snakes bother me.....doesn't matter if they are poisonous or not.

    Yes! Birds freak me out. I got swarmed by seagulls at the beach when I was a kid and I've been bird traumatized ever since. I had a panic attack in the middle of St. Marks Square in Venice when a piegon flew up and grazed my arm. *shudder*

    Not afraid of birds... and pet birds? best I have ever seen is a friends that would cuss at you... lol oh and it would ride on the dogs back!

    i love birds!

    BUT the only "bird" im afraid of is BATS!!
    there must be something about me, cuz they LOVE me!!! *shudder* Im always getting chased by bats!
    i hate them! they are flying rodents.

    PS. Im terrified of rodents!

    hahaha...i love birds. i own one: a darling senegal parrot. i'll resist posting a pic of him out of respect to the OP ;o)

    my fiancé works with someone who's terrified of birds. if one lands on the street near him when he's walking, he'll freak out and run away. he helped us move, and my parrot was out and took off flying, and he ran screaming into the basement! i'm probably going to hell for it, but i laughed.

    my fiancé isn't scared of birds, but he hates them. in particular, he hates my bird, who is a jealous terror. it's challenging to live with both of them :)

    I LOVE birds! Especially birds of prey. My fella and I had a day flying them last year. So beautiful.

    I hate big spiders, and wasps, they scare the cr@p outta me!! :laugh:

    Silverfish... I am terrified of silverfish. I will run screaming if I see one.

    Birds don't scare me, but bugs and spiders do!!!

    I'm not sure if it's silverfish or centipedes that have taken over my apartment, but thank baby Jesus an exterminator is coming on Monday. I literally have massive panic attacks when I see one - and there was a huge one crawling up my bedroom wall this morning. I live alone and usually spray those mofos to death with aerosol hairspray but I'm OUT of hairspray (due to killing so many of these things) so I had to man up and smash this one with a shoe this morning. So freaking disgusting. Ugh.

    Not especially scared of anything. But the worst feeling ever that freaks me out is a grasshopper landing on me. Makes me shudder thinking about it.

    Wow, i can't believe how many people hate birds.

    I had one that I raised from hatching and she would sleep in my neck. She loved kisses and to be scratched.

    Nowadays, I don't have one because they can be messy the way they throw their seed hulls out the cage and I just don't have the time or space for one right now.

    I love birds. My dad raced pigeons when I was growing up. Im totally terrified of crabs.
