50 shades is BORING

I think it was super boring. I couldn't even finish the third book. I never stop half way through a book, but I just couldn't take it any more. I thought the scenes were pretty boring and that things were repetitive. I also found her to be super whiny.0

I can't get past the ****ty writing lol0
-
I didn't read it, but from what I understand it's book porn.
Why in the f@#k would I READ porn? There's this lovely thing called the internet.0 -
****ty writing, stupid story, and not BDSM. That **** is straight vanilla.0

I thought it was terrible!!! I never made it to the third book. I do not understand the obsession at all.0
-
I hate to say this, but I can't help but judge the readership to be on the less literary or interesting spectrum. I mean, it's not even vanilla--more like just straight up PLAIN.0

That *kitten* is BDSM for 85 year old blue hairs that don't know wtf BDSM is.0 -
Yeah, a little. It was very repetitive.0
-
It was a pleasantly erotic mindless holiday book.
If I wanted quality literature I would read the classics.
That doesn't make me (or anyone else brave enough to say they enjoyed it) stupid or poorly read.
It's harmless fun.0 -
I've read better porn written by fifteen year old virgins on the internet.0

^^This. I felt my IQ dropping with each page I read. A little spanking? Bor-ing!!! Teach me something I can use! And what 21-year-old says "crap!" and "double crap!" and "oh my!" that often. SO stupid.
Although, it did open up my eyes to REAL erotica--at a friend's suggestion (who has a degree in sexology), I'm currently reading "Fanny Hill", "Venus in Furs", and "Fear of Flying".0 -
The author is doing a book tour starting in my city (where the book is based).
An article in the newspaper stated that the book was originally intended for Twilight fans...now I *really* have no desire to read it!0 -

I just downloaded Venus in Furs on my phone..It was free on the google marketplace. Curious now that I see someone else is going to read it.0 -

It's what we call fan fiction.0 -
Women read this cause they dont want to get caught looking at porn on the internet!0
-
in short...it sucks! I stopped at the last 30-50 pages of the first book and wouldn't dream of reading the other two...The sex was way over stated in the reviews and the character developement and the storyline are *kitten* at best. I've seen made for TV movies with more substance...very disappointed0

It wasn't intended for Twilight fans it was straight up Twilight fanfiction posted for free on the internet for all to read. I've heard from people who have seen both texts the author just used the find/replace feature to change the names. So if a story of a inexplicably damaged man who could never love (Edward/Christian) falling for a ditzy, spineless, devoid of personality shell of a girl (Bella/Ana) isn't your cup of tea you won't enjoy it.
Plus it's more poorly written that Twilight and that's saying something. I have to admit I've pitied the people who tell me the sex is "sooooo hot" it tells me a lot about their sex lives.0 -

I haven't even read it! I keep hearing all about it and I'm like... meh. Not interested!
Why read about it when you can do it!!!!??? Right!? ;-D0 -
It might be boring but hey, the author is rolling in the dough! Kudos to her!0

It was, in fact, Twilight fan fiction at its origin.0 -
It's boring, it's STUPIDLY vanilla sex, and the writing is so bad I questioned whether or not the person who wrote it might not be a little "slow." (sSorry if that's not PC lol...0
