    At least my cats (STFU, yes I have cats) surrounded those and would corral them (but not "handle" them).

    Mine will bat spiders and other creepy crawlers to death - but even they seem to have a limit on "handling" them!

    I heard about that, but I don't know why it got so much press. Insects and spiders crawl into peoples' ears all the time. My brother had one just last year.

    I would die. I'm deathly allergic to spiders. If one was living in my ear, yeah I would be six feet under. My parents found out when I was 8 years old when I got a bite from a spider from camping. I had to go to the er, my throat closed up, hives, barely breathing, yeah, it was bad. same thing with horseflies and bee stings. I see a spider, i kill it, but not before running and screaming.
