I think your macros are fine, though people can always stand to eat fewer carbs.
Try going down to 1200 calories. Tell MFP you are sedentary and then add in exercise manually.0 -
Cut the carbs before bed. Whether is dinner, or your last snack. The carbs are working agaisnt you. If you keep the carbs low for your last meal/snack, your body will have to use body fat for energy while you sleep thus causing you to lose those last few pounds. Trust me.0

LOL. ok buddy. If you say so.0 -
LOL its the days total. if you ate 200g's of carbs right before you went to bed and 0g's the rest of the day it would be exactly the same as if you ate that 200 throughout the day.0

WOW. is that what you really believe?!?!? buddy, your body will not digest 200g of Carbs as your last meal and help you lose weight. Ask ANY NUTRITIONIST OR DOCTOR! I really hope your not giving people this advice cuz your setting them up for failure. You clearly know nothing about the digestive system and nutrient absoprtion by the body. goodluck to you.
Im sure you also think not eating all day and eating a box of pizza before bed will also help you lost weight because as you said, "its the same thing"...LMAO ya, your on the right track to being a health expert. good luck.0 -

please. show me some evidence to back your claims.

^in particular this one.
you clearly know nothing. it is total days macros. calories in vs. calories out. Meal timing is irrelevant and so is the portions of your macronutrients at certain times. if you disagree please give me substancial evidence backing your claims.0 -

ok, i guess all the people in my challenge groups lost all their body fat and gaine dlean muscle with magic then. But hey, what do I know, maybe im just seeing fake results in them.0
-
you will get results either way obviously if you hit your macro and micronutrients and are at a caloric deficit. I was not disproving that.. i am saying it doesnt matter at all if you eat your carbs at night or not. and it also doesnt matter if you decide eat all your macronutrients in one meal. i assume by the lack of evidence you provided you were not able to prove your claim.0

you are right, my lack of scientific knowledge (goggle) is no match to your greatness and expertise when it comes to nutrition. I shall ask all my challenge members to reveal their true selves and stop using magic as a means to disguise their weight loss and body transformations since they have not provided evidence either. Tonight I shall purchase a new scale as i dont believe that I have lost any weight either, all my clothes is probably just growing making me think im losing weight when im not. Thanks for your extensive scientific knowledge. Good Day.0 -

Nobody is saying that you have to eat a bunch of carbs at night to lose weight. We're just saying that it's ok to do so, as long as you're in a net energy deficit and have pretty reasonable macros.
Chill out buddy. Maybe some pre bed time oatmeal will cheer you up.0 -

No really. Nutrient timing is a sham. Theres plenty of evidence to support this. As long as your getting what you need, it doesnt matter when you eat it.
Try not to buy into the BS that populates 99% of the fitness world. I've been doing this a long time.0 -

Im not buying into any BS. But lets be honest, telling someone that eating 200g of something before bed is the same as splitting it during the day? You have to be kdding me right? You claim to be doing this a long time, have YOU ever said something like this to anyone?0 -

Nutritionally, it is the same. Get over it.0 -

LOL. im very relaxed actually. I never said NO carbs, I simply said, to lower her carbs as her last meal before bed. She said she wanted to lose the last few pounds thats all. I eat carbs for dinner too, lol, im not against it.0 -
Just cut the carbs, period. Get carbs from veggies, berries, ect.0

Im just saying that theres not a lot of evidence to support that it matters when you take in your daily allotment of carbs. Can you provide some?0 -

Carb timing is completely irrelevant to fat loss. Total carbs are relevant but whether or not you eat them during the AM or PM is a bunch of gym broscience.
Fat oxidation minus Fat storage is all you need to concern yourself with and this is driven by energy balance and macronutrient totals, not when you eat a particular macro.0 -
I would try reducing carbs for about 3 weeks and changing my excersize routine up. Your body kind of adjusts so you want to keep changing things for it. THat or have a 3-4 day low carb and 1 day high. Try getting more carbs early in the day and more protein later in the day. I read Burn the fat feed the muscle online for free and parts of it really seemed to jump out at me.
I generally find if I am stalled I take my 1270 down to 1200 and it will jump start it up. I make sure to estimate my calories accurately too, actually count the chips and almonds.
I do aqua zumba 1 day, zumba 1 day, turbokick1 day and p90x (2 days with fit club). if I stall I plan to add some weight lifting to target different fat locations. I just saw Dr oz recommends not working out on an empty stomach but instead trying to eat a soft or liquid food 1/2 hour before too. Then you burn more fat and less muscle.0 -

I regularly eat over half my carbs at night on most evenings. Typically I'll have 100g+ right before bed, sometimes 150-175g.
It makes absolutely no difference compared to a scenario where those carbs are spread throughout the day and remaining nutrient intake and expenditures are held constant.0 -

Can you tell us whether or not you use a food scale and/or measuring devices to track intake? Do you count every single thing you eat/drink always? I'm just trying to look at counting accuracy before going into necessary changes, in case there are areas that could be tightened up.0 -
i agree with sidesteal. once i started weighing my foods i realized i was eating tons more calories than i thought! for example these salmon filets i buy all of them are labeled as 272 calories per filet, but once i weigh them they are around 310. that is just one example. i have the same problem with protein bars, cheese slices, avacado's, peanut butter can be so misleading!0
