I totally forgot to mention it yesterday but I celebrated my 10 lbs lost with shopping  I bought myself a new L.K. Bennett knee length black coat for the winter. It's too cute and warm! Found it at the famous Bicester UK outlets. Yay for 10 lbs!

can't wait for something new at 15 lbs!

How many do you burn with the shred? I burn like 220 each time in the 27 minutes (including warmup and cooldown)

    strength for me tonight.

tried a new lunch - Kashi frozen meal - sweet and sour chicken I really liked it it was very filling.

I think we're having mexican tonight after workouts - I'll stick to fajitas with no cheese or sour cream.

I think I forgot to tell you guys-I've opened a public blog...check it out if you have time and let me know what you think.....http://chrissysjourneyfattofit.blogspot.com/

I can't find my MP3 player to put over my ears. Dang. Maybe I will walk with weights. My body is feeling all these workouts I'm sore but I'm loving it. :drinker:

I burn about 280 with the shred. I actually did the quick trouble zones by jillian today. My arms were so shaky by the end I didn't think I would make it. That burned 339 cals, even when I didn't do everything because of the little boy that climbed on my back. We are having salsa chicken for dinner tonight. I am just about to figure out the calories on that one--it's pretty yummy. I should be okay for cals tonight though my daughter made me run the half mile home--while I pushed the stroller. I get winded very quickly that way. I don't put it in as exercise unless I go over so we will see.

We're in for a snow storm tonight. Hopefully not too much of one, it puts me in a baking mood.

    Hi beautiful blues,

This morning didn't go to the gym because my 15 month has a fever. She's doing alot better now, and the fever is gone (fingers crossed) and so I decided to do exercise dvds. I did about 2 hours total of P90X legs and back, ab ripper, and Jillian michael's banish fat boost metabolism. I feel good, because I'm sure I burned lots of calories.

Hope everyone has a nice day!

I am afraid to step on the scale. I don't want to see the number stay the same. but according to my Wii fit I have lost weight but i know that is not accurate ( I hope it is tho)

Thanks everyone!!! I am very excited to have my blog out there.

Been really busy at work today - going to run - goal 6 miles (longest run ever for me) we'll see how my knee holds up.

Tomorrow is my psycho 4 class day - rest Sunday (maybe a walk) - if after running 13.5 miles this week and 7 hours of classes doesn't make the scale budge I really don't know what would - crossing my fingers!

I know that you all probably thought that I was lost. I haven't posted for several weeks. I was sick and incredibly busy, and somewhat down. It was silly, but I was down about the fact that I gained some weight on the steroids that they put me on for my asthma, and it was really eating at me. However, even though I thought about it, I knew that giving up was not an option, and I hung in there. As of Wednesday, I had lost all of the weight that I had gained, and I'm ready to get going again. And, even though I am still coughing a little, I have been off of all of the extra medicine that I was taking for a week now. I feel much better, and maybe I will go out and conquer the world now. Now I would like for all of the hard work that I've been doing to get me more results than just losing that dang steroid weight! I hope all of you are doing well. I haven't even been reading your posts, but I pledge to start trying to keep up again now. Have a great weekend, and here's to smart choices!

Debnu - if it's not too late to join the challenge, just use my last weight for the starting. At least I am back down to it!

You guys I don't know if I can keep doing this ****. It's so frustrating. What the hell am I thinking. I know how to loose weight I mean hello I have already done it. SO why is it so hard for me to keep going. I keep grabbing the junk crap or just keep eating the cereal. I'm not exercising like i should be. Damn it.

I do have to say one good thing is as tempting as it was to go back to pop today I didn't. I have stayed only with water. I have to kick butt this weekend for the weigh in on monday that is for sure. TOM is coming this weekend ick. Then on the 23rd I have a procedure that is going to keep me out of the game for a couple of days.

j_g: Don't give up!! We can do this. We just need to remember that we are in it for the long haul and look at the big picture. It is so easy for me to look at the scale after gaining or not losing and go into a don't care attitude. That is when it is most important for us to remember it isn't the number on the scale it is about how we feel about ourselves. I have been irritated and on the verge of not caring but the best thing to do is just keep doing it. I know how to loose weight too. I know I can do it. The tough part is doing it. So lets do it!!

Msh, I'll put you on the chart, just send me your weight on Monday.

I did 70 min on the treadmill today. I figured I had to do something to burn off the extra cals I ate last night--Too many temptations and all were made at my hand. We had a bunch of friends over for a party. It was great fun but tiring after eating, cleaning and cooking all day. I have to work tonight, :grumble: I am so hoping for a cancelation--but since it is snowing and I work on a heart floor chances are that I will be going in to work (snow shoveling and old hearts tend not to work so well together)

Hope you all have a good day!

    Hello blue team!!

    Keep strong everyone!!

j_g - you've come so very far!! You can do this!! You know what you need to do, you know how to do it!! We all have struggles & temptations!! I was at Walmart today & bought a pack of cookies! A pack of cookies!! How stupid is that!???!! I know better! The stupid things are in my kitchen yelling my name now! I'm afraid to open them. I dont' have enough calories to even sniff them!! LOL!! Why do we set ourselves up?? We know better!! We are stronger then this, better then this! It's just not worth it!!
Keep your head up!! You've come so very far!! You have so much to be proud of! With your health problems it would be so easy to make excuses & not do a darn thing. But, you do!! You kick butt!! You're awesome & you're a great motivator!! Keep going!! Keep strong!!

Im hoping to do it again tomorrow. I forgot to wear my HRM of course so I don't know how many calories I burned but I don't care i feel great. So I only had breakfast and supper because I slept till noon today.

j_g - Never, never never give up! You already said you know how to do this, and we all know that you can! Just hang in there . . . with us!
Just got back from a walk. It's dark out, but still 45 degrees, and felt great. I figured with a 90% chance of rain tonight and 70% chance of snow tomorrow, I'd better get one more in. (By the way, walking and swimming are my favorite exercises.)
Anyway, now I am enjoying a bowl of a knock off recipe for Mexican Chicken Chili from the Soup Nazi. (The one George stood in line for on Seinfeld, only his was turkey.) Anyway, low cal, low fat, very good for you and very good. Let me know if you want the recipe, and I will send it.

    Hi everyone,

Today was my day off from exercise and went to church with my family. I was so excited because I felt so fit today, and I'm starting to see the changes. I went down a skirt size and that also made me feel great.

j_g4ever- Don't give up! We've all felt down at one time or another, and it's probably due to stress or life issues. But besides the challenge we are doing here and all, we are all doing this for ourselves because we each love our body. The challenge is just a great add in because it helps us all do this together, and a group of people are stronger than 1. What I would do is just cry if I wanted, scream if I wanted, then get myself back on track. This is really a life long journey about having a relationship with food and our bodies. I was just thinking about weight loss today and I realized that in my life, over eating, or (doing anything in my life in an exaggerated way) will not make the problem go away. The only way the problem will go away is facing it full force and in this case my problem is being overweight. I can face this problem and start losing weight, and that will be the only way to solve it.

I'm rooting for you, and I know you can do it.

Great job at burning some extra calories!! I'm so glad you felt good after your workout. In reality, that's what its all about... feeling good and being healthy. Even when we hit our goal weights, this way of life is not going anywhere. Find ways to enjoy your new eating and exercise habits because they aren't going anywhere. Stick with it... your worth it!

Today I did a spin class then a weight training class. I am worn out!! Arms feel like jello  I hope I burned a good amount of cals today because I had some small desserts at the formal dinner I went to last night!! Going to be extra careful today.

Weigh in on Monday Blues - Don't forget!

How many of you are preparing for snow today as we are here? Just curious. The first snow of the season is always rather exciting, and I'm never sure if I am ready for the bone chilling cold. Hope everyone is having a blessed Sunday!
