    Out of curiosity, can you un-ignore someone after you've ignored them, or are their posts hidden for good?

    yes, you can. i do it a lot.

    one guy even said he took me off ignore to see if i was still bad/negative/whatever.
    and i was.
    at least i'm consistent. =D

    Why would they send a message to tell you they ignore you? They must want personal attention. lol. Maybe they are 12 yrs old.

    The ignore button makes most threads less hateful. lol. I just ignored a person for going off on someone else the way she did me. Seems she uses the same speech on everyone. I'm tired of seeing it.

    Exactly... I haven't ignored anyone yet (because I didn't know I could) but I've seen a lot of really nasty and really sarcastic posts. Now I know I can control (to some extent) what I have to see here.
