I am so with you with the cravings.. mine is usually sweet and salty.... I am "new" to the journey here, but even previously I had to start making changes... so I figured instead of a large bag of chips to save $$$, I started purchasing the small bags, and ate less.... it seems to be working to allow myself a small portion of the treat vs none at all. My goal is to one day eliminate completely, but at this point, I'm not there... am also looking for healthy alternatives. For me it's taking the time to change one step at a time - took me a lifetime to get here... not going to be a quick road back, so baby steps are working. Thanks to all the ideas you all have provided. Good luck in your journey.

I think by depriving yourself of it will make you want it more, so try to find a way to work it in your calories once or twice a week. When I want something sweet I give up something in order to eat it. I do try to only eat those things on the weekend but do what works for you

You're welcome. Perhaps women can benefit from the information in the article to control cravings and use that time of the month to burn extra calories. And yes, 76 is my birth year

Goodness Knows is a sports bar that uses real dark chocolate (I like the very cranberry) I eat these whenever I crave chocolate, also if you make any of your own baked goods like muffins add some coco powder 1 Table spoon only has 15 calories :drinker:
