I have only lost 13 pounds, but I can now wear my favorite jeans that were too tight (and the reason I started on MFP.) I think this may be my first NSV and I look forward to adding more of these types of victories.

This is a great thread! Very inspiring!

I have only lost 33 lbs, but...

I can see my collar bone! (My most favorite part of my body!)
I can feel hip bones (while I may not be able to see them just yet)
I wear a size 14 (which is starting to get loose) instead of a 16 in jeans!
I went from a XL shirt to only a L!
I have calf muscles and baby biceps!!!
I seem to drive my boyfriend crazy which in turn makes me feel 150% more confident in myself and sexy!

Those are just a few of my favorites. I'm half way there and am ready to see what else comes with it :-)

I have "only lost" 15 pounds, BUT I'm a size smaller in pants, and I can get through an entire 1-hr. cardio-kickboxing class--something I probably wouldn't have been able to do a few years ago.

I have only lost 47 pounds...

But I have a neck now and can see my collar bone.
I have to roll my pants up for them to fit.
I can fit into a Blazer that I bought years ago that I could never button up.
i can wrap my full size bath towel around me with nothing showing!

    I've "only" lost 25lbs but...

I'm now in size 12/14 instead of 16/18
I feel stronger and more confident
I have completed a 5km race, when at first I thought that day 1 of C25K would kill me!
I can do 10 real push ups!

I have "only" lost 12lbs but.....

I am proud of the role model I've become for my son diet and exercise wise
I have conquered my emotional eating habit
I am much more active (but can improve there too)
I don't feel like I'm on a "diet", this is how I will live for the rest of my life!

I have only lost 12 lbs but ...

I have only been doing this for 6 weeks
I can now run for half a mile in 5 minutes without struggling (huge acheivement for me as I couldnt run for 1 minute 6 weeks ago without feeling like throwing up and sounding like an asthmatic donkey)
Im more awake and alert at work
and just today alone I have said polite no thank yous to the offer of jelly sweets, pizza and cakes (colleagues birthday) and stuck to soup and some strawberrys instead :)

Im looking forward to the next year and reaching my goals in a healthy and acheivable way!

P.s. all of your stories are very inspiring

    I have only lost 43lbs, but I......

Am now a size 10 INSTEAD of a size 14
Can now wear Medium tops instead of XL
Can now walk all day, when before I would get winded walking upstairs!
Can see my toes instead of my belly!
    Can cross my legs again!
Most Importantly --- I am no longer on BP meds! I have no more pain in my joints and no more heartburn.

I have only lost 39 pounds but...

It's been almost a year and there's no turning back.
    I'm wearing a size 16/18 instead of 20/22.
I'm wearing a 16 for the first time since high school.
I'm wearing XL shirts instead of XXL.
I bought girl athletic shorts for the first time in 10 years.
I can run multiple bases and not feel winded.
I can run down pop-flies I wouldn't have gotten to last year.
I'm faster during my volleyball matches and don't feel as exhausted as early.
I want to get up and play with my son and not just sit and watch him.
    I'm getting more "looks"/compliments.
I'M HAPPIER with myself and much more confident.

Most importantly: I have only lost 39 pounds but I have found the thing that works for me and know the tools I need to lose much more!

I've only lost 5 pounds (and gained it back while race training), but:

My body comp has changed to the point where I am a (healthy!) size 0 at three different stores.
I'd rather spend my money on race registrations than anything else.
I'm doing my first half marathon in 2 1/2 weeks, and signed up for my second (February) without hesitation.
I had to improvise an outfit for an interview because my black pantsuit looks like a trash bag on me.

I have only lost 49 pounds but....

I no longer have daily fat and ugly days
I no longer feel unworthy of my husbands attraction to me
I no longer have to make sure the store I am shopping in has plus sizes
I no longer see myself as lazy
    I no longer wear a size 20 dress, I wear a 10!
I no longer worry about how disgusting I look when someone wants to take a picture
I no longer think "I hope I can lose weight before this event"
I no longer feel like a failure
I no longer feel like my father's insensitive hateful words were correct
I no longer dread things that seem so simple as tying my shoes or getting dressed

I have only lost 32 lbs. (in almost a year), but

I have bought new work pants once (and now some of them are loose)
People I work with tell me I'm losing & looking good.
People I work with walk with me for our exercise twice a day.
My husband compliments me on my dedication.
I walked/jogged my SECOND 5k race in 10 yrs & made it in under an hour (my goal!)
I feel better knowing I'm doing this the right way, slowly but trending downward!!
I miss exercise when I don't do a class or workout.
I want to do more 5ks and plan on it!!
I am eating more right than wrong, but don't beat myself up when I stray. Like Oprah says, "when you know better, you do better".
I still have about 30 lbs. to goal, but I know I can make it and just take it slow & steady.
Am learning to "Stay strong & carry on!"
