Goal weight reached and passed!

Just finished a 6 month weight lost challenge today. I originally wanted to lose 50 pounds, but i passed my goal with a few months left, so I kept going. I started at 245 and ended at 173.8. It was difficult at first, but after a little while, all the exercise and new eating habits became routine. I work around pizza and beer all week long, so if I can do it, anyone can.

Thanks! No secret, I just always stayed under my calorie goal. Found low calorie foods that I liked and cut out the fast food and soda. I started exercising to help me stay under my calorie goal. I got a treadmill that sits in the back of my living room and got into the habit of walking/running 45 minutes a day instead of sitting on the coach while i watch tv. It was a little rough at first, but once I started seeing the results, it seemed to get easier. It also helped put my calories in perspective. I can burn about 475 calories on the treadmill and when I go out to a restaurant, just 2 pieces of bread is that much. So I started thinking, Is that worth 45 minutes? If it was, I enjoyed it and payed for it later. When I only get a set amount of calories, all those extra things i never took in to account adds up. I feel 100% better. Just find something that works and stick with it, trust me it gets easier.0
