Question for the well-endowed ladies with scale goals

I'm barely a B-cup, so don't have that much to contribute, but just wanted to say that I think this thread is such a good example of why BMI/weight can be unhelpful or even irrelevant as an indication of health. To the OP (and everyone else for that matter) get rid of the scales, it's just a number. You'll know if you're healthy - there are so many other (better IMO) ways to tell if you're in a good place, health wise: being fit and strong, feeling good in your own skin, clothes fitting well, having lots of energy, etc, etc. Anyway, to answer the original question, yes I think you should change your weight goal, I've never come across any research that indicates that the fat tissue in women's breasts have a negative impact on health (the way abdominal fat is believed to have). But if I were you I'd get rid of my weight goal completely and stop weighing myself (permanently).
I love this idea!!!!
And yeah, when I had a free training session and the stupid gym trainer tried to tell me I was obese because of my BMI I wanted to punch him in his teeth.0 -
I think that being well endowed can easily add 5 lbs. to a person's weight. When I was over 200lbs, I wore a 38H and now at 136lbs, I'm now down to a 34DD/DDD. Even when I was about 10lbs less than I am now in high school, I was still a DD, so I think this is as small as the 'girls' are going to get (and unfortunately, they're definitely saggier!). However, with that being said, I did not re-adjust my goal to account for my chest. I still aimed for the healthy BMI range.0

My boobs weigh about 10lbs I worked out (roughly give or take) And I'm a short *kitten*, but I've noticed compared to ladies on mybodygallery i'm a lot smaller waist wise aha, so yes, i'd love to say i weigh 160 + Boobs :') but 170 it is for now!0

I find great bras on www.biggerbras.com and at MyIntimacy.com ... BUT I do pay a pretty penny per bra. I personally don't really care how pretty the bra is, I care how pretty my girls look under my clothes lol... I LOVE a perfectly fitted bra, it feels like wearing nothing at all. No digging straps, no back strap riding up, and no more that 2 boobs at a time lol.
I got this push up at VS that is so cool-- no adjustable straps and some pretty lace so I get some pretty detail. My problem is an exercise bra!! I look like a fool in all of my classes because the girls are flipping around like crazy.
I found a great sports bra brand called Enelle. I am a 38DDD and with this bra on, the girls are going no where when I run and excercise. They are pretty pricey at 80.00, but well worth it!0 -
Being more well endowed is part of why I have an ultimate body fat % goal instead of a weight goal. Maybe you should look in to getting your body fat % tested and reduce it to a number that makes you happy, wherever your weight ends up.0

I'm only a D cup now (down from DD) but as far as the workpit goes, I say"who cares". Who cares if the girls are jumping around. Moving is going to change that part pf nature so don't even worry about it. Most pf the smaller girls I've ever talked to wish they could have my size.0 -

I agree with this...When you get to a certain point, start worrying about body fat% rather than weight. If you really want to be sure about it, get a body pod scan rather than doing calipers or hydrostatic weighing. It will tell you where you are carrying your body fat. If its mostly in the boobs, great! If its still hanging around in your abdomen and hips, you can adjust from there.0 -
I asked my doctor this question about weight and body type. His goal for me is 150 and no lower than 140lbs considering the girls and my age plus sagging skin from lage amount of weight loss (I am 5'3" and 55 yrs old). I shoved myself into a 50DDD at my heaviest. I am now down to a 34-36 DDD (finding it difficult to get a smaller size without costing a fortune), and just ordered a 36DD hoping for not too big band and full cup. I found a Glamorise sport bra camisole in black/pink that I love for running on treadmill. Does the job. Also found pretty color bras from comfort choice but smallest band size is 36 and I'm getting closer to a 34. I measured today and my actual inches were 32". I mam happy to fit into regular clothes sized tops of Med or Large. Also swimsuit shopping is a tad easier, but do wish there were more of a selection in all clothing. Ughhhh0

I was wondering the same thing. I wanted to see what an average person my age with bigger sized breast would weigh and came across your post. Did you ever figure out how to factor it in? I am 5'2 at 123.. I started out at 176 and worked my way down painfully lol. I am now a 32DD and wanted to get down to 118 which seems to be average for my height? But now I'm wondering if my boobs are that extra few pounds?0
