Who let those kids anywhere near a gym?
What I'm wondering if how the "coaches" could legally call themselves "coaches." Like, really?0 -
that was painful to watch :noway:0
-
I honestly couldn't watch any more than a minute of it. I was expecting someone's arm to fall off, or the bar to come crashing down, killing the lifter.0
-
and there's a random three legged dog walking through....
w t f0 -
Wondering why they would want to advertise the name of their gym before that video. I have heard of quite a few injuries during Crossfit. If this is how they train then I'm not surprised.0
-
And this is supposed to reflect the sport of "elite fitness"?
As a true athlete, this sickens me.
Here's my sport:

Now you know how it became a three-legged dog!0
-
I noticed the dog too. I wondered if someone dropped the bar on it. That was terrible. Those people are nuts.0
-
I swear, I thought that girl was going to drop it on her head. Just watching that made me cringe!0
-
Bump for viewing after work0
-
Lol there is actually a video response from the ppl @ that gym. Can't remember where I saw it or the title of video.
Basically they just called everyone haters for telling them what retards they are.0 -

Glad I wasn't drinking coffee...*snort*0 -
I'm glad crossfit is such a fitness fad right now, it forces more people to actually seek out CERTIFIED personal trainers such as myself0
-
Yeah, nice propoganda piece aginst CrossFit. I like the way people make them the villian with no understanding of what's happening. Educate yourself first, and you'll "get it". It's not what it looks like.0
-
What exactly are they doing wrong?
If you do not know the sport or how it is done how would you know if it is being done wrong?
There is poor, improper form and then there is moving the body differently to achieve a result. Most people are in the former, even when they think they are doing it right.
Everyone seemed to be having fun.0 -
My jaw was on the floor. Granted they all looked like they were having fun, but they were off on form and several appeared to almost drop the bar on their head or the people surrounding them. Someone was bound to get hurt.0
-
And this is why some people consider Crossfit to be like a cult.
Because people can look at that video and go "I don't see a problem."0 -
No dogs were harmed in the making of this video. Oh wait...nevermind...0
-
bump for later ---- because I have a feeling I have GOT to see this...0

They get worse. Check out the chick doing this 7 months pregnant!!!

I really hope that is a farce.
those are some sorry sacks for excuses with form. and what is each plate - like 10 pounds? if that's a normal plate at 45 lbs, there is no way those people are lifting those. and if they are....i forsee a few shoulders, necks and backs getting blown out.
good for a laugh...thanks.0 -
I didn't even make it through 30 seconds. That's a lawsuit waiting to happen.0
-
I know NOTHING about free weight training, but I think I got about 15 hernias just by watching this video! :-}0
