Well, I had a terrible weekend, and didn't lose, but I maintained. Not good at all.

    SW- 143.8
    CW- 143.8

That's exactly what I deserve for having such a bad weekend. :ohwell:

I'm a ding-dong and didn't even put the right numbers- thank you Susan for catching my stupid mistake.

    Should be:

    SW 153.4
    CW 153.4
    GW 148.4
Kellyn, don't be so hard on yourself! As far as numbers go, I think 143.8 sounds like a really nice number!

    Checking in - 3.2 lbs GONE!

    SW 168.2
    CW 165.0

Wow! You all are the greatest! :flowerforyou: I had been stuck between 168-169 since March. I was beyond frustrated. I love the support and inspiration I get here. My water intake has been so much better b/c of that challenge. I have been more motivated during my workouts too. Today I did 5 miles on the ellipitical. (it took an hour but I didn't quit)

My challenge suggestion is that we give 110% in our Monday workouts. Kind of like the last chance workout on "Biggest Loser", so that we can go to bed feeling like we've done our best. Then we don't have to cringe when its time to face the scale.

Last recorded weight: 229.2 lbs on 12/06/09

I hope to be at least 219 by January 5.

To get there I have been increasing my water intake, smaller portions of baked chicken, minimum on coffee and sweets, increasing my salad intake and trying to lower my stress. Go figure... I een tried Jay Johnson's boot camp. I was sore for two days. I will stick to walking and working out 3 days a week.

Good luck and great work to everyone !

I am unworthy ... horrible few days, just couldn't get "with it." Oh well, must hit RESET and start again.

yay I weighed myself this morning at 214.2 lbs down from last week's 216.8! But I know I could do better, I really need to switch to diet pop or just cut pop out altogether. If it's not in the house I do fine, but we had a party and my sister in law brought a 2 liter of Cherry Coke-which it's our tradition to always split. Well I didn't stop at the one glass I promised myself but hopefully this next week I'll be pop free. Hope everyone else is doing good!

ashaver, being sick can really play havoc with weigh-ins. Just keep working at it and it will come off when you feel better. Just make sure not to eat the entire fridge when you start feeling better - that's what I do and then gain!!!

I am proud to report a 1 pound weight loss. Yes, it should be more since I am very big, but you know, a pound is a pound. I had a food frenzy Friday night, so at this point, I'm taking my pound and running with it!

    SW: 459

    GW: 449 (well......it's a goal  )

Hey ladies (I think we're all ladies here, right? )

Just wanted to let you know that I won't be participating the Fab Fours challenge anymore. I went to a specialist today (finally- been waiting over a month for this appointment) for my gluten issues, and in order for them to determine if I have Celiac's disease or a gluten intolerance, or something else, they want me to NOT eat a gluten free diet anymore for the next month so that they can do an endoscopy (the only way to tell for certain if I have Celaic's or not). In order to do the endoscopy I HAVE to eat some gluten. If I do have Celiac's (and they think there is a very good chance), it's a life long condition, so this may be the last month that I'm "allowed" to have pizza, pasta, bread, chicken parm, cookies, cake, brownies, my favorite cereal, etc. ever again :noway: So, I don't want to use it as an excuse to pig out, but I also have to "make hay while the sun shines" (to borrow my grandma's expression).

I belive that most, if not all, of you on here will understand where I'm coming from. Maybe some of you have or know someone who has Celiac's, or who is gluten-free and can truly understand the sacrifices that must be made:ohwell: . I would like to think that no one thinks I'm being ridiculous or an excuse-maker, but if that's the way you feel, then there is nothing I can do about it. I'm not a quitter- I have to do what I have to do.

I *hope* you all can understand. I'll still follow along with the thread, but I will not be making the usual sacrifices that I make when on my regular "diet". I wish you all the best... this is an AWESOME group and I'm sure you will all see a great deal of success. If there is another Fab Fours group after this one is over, PLEASE make sure I find it- if not, someone send me a private message! :flowerforyou:

Thank you! It's not that I'm completely throwing my healthy eating to the wind... but I won't be giving Fab Fours my 100% honest to goodness effort. Thank you for understanding. I didn't want to just disappear from the thread...

Kelynn, do whatever you must to take care of yourself. My close friend has a gluten intolerance and I see what she has to go through to keep from getting sick. :flowerforyou:

    Kelynn,
Thanks so much for the heads up. I wish you only the best! I will be with you in spirit as you sort out the cause of your symptoms. I hope you feel better soon. Don't be ridiculous about quitting. We all understand. Please know that you're always welcome here, and we'll do our best to keep you informed of future threads. Take care and have a great Holiday Season. You get to celebrate!

Thank you Susan, you are SOOOO good with this!!!!
I went over on my cals AGAIN but I got in my challenge, worked out and drank my water! I think my wanting to eat ALL the time is because it is unbelievable cold here! Our area was the coldest in the NATION today with MINUS 31 degrees(some areas right by us were -34) and that was without windchill!!! It is suppose to get UP to 30 on Saturday but that will probably bring snow!!! That was nice you chose the Say No for tomorrow ! Now I MUST follow my own suggestion!!

The graph looks awesome!!! Thank you so much for that! I always have to go back and look through all the old posts to see what we are doing for the day, this makes things so much easier! Awesomeness!!

Okay I have to share this, I am so proud of myself. I actually managed to work out for 40 mins today and burned 350 calories!
With all the slacking I've been doing it has been really hard to get re-motivated so as long as I can keep this up I know I will reach my mini goal!
