    My cousin OD'd on xanax and died. That stuff isn't really anything to joke about. Not trying to be a party pooper, but just sayin'. Pills suck.

    First time I had one I fell asleep for almost an entire day. No one told me you were supposed to break it into segments.

    On a different note, some of the crappiest people I've ever met take them for fun, so I adopted a strong dislike for anyone abusing Xanax. It brings out the worst in them.

    So did mine. Last August, actually. It happened because he mixed it with alcohol. Too many people OD'ing like that. It's terrible. Sorry for your loss.

    OK, if we're going to be serious (which, Odus doesn't really like, but will try), one can Overdose on literally any medicine; asprin, benadryl, vicodin, klonopin, and yes... xanax. There are complications of mixing any two different medications, any medication including asprin, with alcohol, etc.

    Disclaimer: MFP nor Odus recommends overdosing on any medication to induce forum tranquility.

    While I don't know anyone that died from it, my fiance is in recovery from a benzo addiction and I know someone else that is hopelessly addicted to them too and is unable to live a normal life because she is swallowing handfuls at a time. So yeah, it's not really that funny for me. I know where you're both coming from.
