Who's with me? I tried before but only made it to day 20. This time I want to go all the way and see if I can do it an make a difference in my body. If anyone wants to join me let me know and I'll start a group. post your stats to start.

    I've been meaning to start it all week long and have managed to talk myself out of getting up an hour early every single morning. BUT, since I've read this and tomorrow is the first of the month, I am in! It will be my second time around and I will be using heavier weights. :-)

    I'm not exactly sure what part of my torso I'm supposed to be measuring, so I always measure the same 3 spots and name them exactly where I believe them to be, lol. I don't remember my measurements for my bust from last time, I don't track it as my boobs seem to be incapable of shrinking anymore.

    I'm super tempted! I completed the shred in July and only worked out TWICE in August! The shred sucked me in so maybe I need to do it again.

    I'm in! I always start and quit after a few days. Are you all doing the full 30 days or taking breaks in between? I'm going to aim for 5X a week, otherwise I get demotivated and quit!

    Yeah I made it to day 10 last month. It was a month that was way too crazy to start any type of goals but all the kids are now in school and I can have some free time for me! :happy:

    I will be starting today as well.
    I always used power 90 by beach body and this is 1st time that I will be using something else.
    Hope I can stick with 30 day plan better.
    Starting weight as of today 195lbs.

    I would like to join you. I have done the 30 day shred in the past and had some good results. I haven't exercised all summer and would like to start again.

    I have been on the fence the past few days if I should do the 30 day shred. I am sooooo out of shape, and quite frankly I am afraid to do it...:(

    But here is my commitment to try it out and do my best. I will faithfully do it for the month of September, and post as soon as it is complete. I and PRAYING I will be able to do the whole 30 minutes everyday.

    its a dvd by jillian michaels designed to help you "shred" aka burn fat in a short amount of time while also toning your muscles like back and arms by using weights. (30 days and 20 minute sessions) with her 321 strength, cardio and abs workout. all this talk got me excited ima start now lol good luck guise

I completed the shred last month in 35 days, but I was only using heavy water bottles for my weights, so this time around I'm using the only weights I have (5 lbs) and OMG it seems so much harder than the first time around!! Lol, the side lunges with arm raises on the last circuit kicked my booty (or my arms, rather) for sure! Happy shredding to everyone starting today.

    im with you!!! lol using the same 3 pound weights as last time but this time does seem a bit harder o_o i think thats the good thing about this program. after finishing it we didnt just adapt totally so we can get a good workout again. my legs are burning! hope everybody else had a productive workout :)

    @amcnulty

    Some things are much harder for me with weights than others. Bicep curls and overhead presses I can use more weight than Lateral raises, and if memory serves, Jillian does a LOT of lateral raises in level 1. So, my advice would be to keep your 5s *and* your water bottles handy, and switch out as needed. :)
  • I'd like to join your group - started the 30 DS this morning - I'd forgotten how hard it is! The lunges and lateral raises killed me!

    I'm in! I finished Day 1 Level 1 and I'm looking forward to the next 29 days! I did 30DS before and had success with it. Hope for great success this time as well. Here are my stats:
