Hello everyone. I hope you have had a great week. :drinker:
I have gone back to the gym but instead of running I am doing a longer brisk walk where my heart rate is in the middle of the fat burning zone which seems to be working. Although yesterday I did 2 hours and 10 minutes and ended up with blisters...lol.
I am going on sick leave from work due to a chronic pain condition and other health issues and I can't wait. Only 6 more work days left, thank goodness.

:laugh: Awesome, Maggs!!! "Down is Down" and after going through a little time of gaining, like you and I did, Down is WONDERFUL!!! :laugh: I was beginning to get a little nervous about myself... After gaining those four pounds and then getting myself straightened up, I wasn't really loosing anything... BUT I really think it just took a bit to get my metabolism on the right track, because last week I lost 2 pounds and this week is REALLY good!!!
Ok, ladies.. I have to weigh-in today, because, again, Wednesday may get to hectic for me to post... I have to do the photography for our preschools "Pictures with Santa" ... I'm thinking tomorrow will be way too crazy for me to even think about posting :laugh: BUT, I do post good news today, so its all good

:blushing: Aw, thanks, Maggs! You kept me encouraged so many times... I know you "got it in ya"!! We just hit a rut... And it takes our bodies a little while to see that we mean business again :laugh: It will kick in!! Just stay with it!! Keep eating right and exercising and you'll start losing again...

I am back. I remember several of you from August when I dropped out.
After coming back from Mexico and not being able to attend my son's wedding I got really depressed and totally did not focus on taking care of myself. Then in August I started quilting and it is been a whirl wind ever since then. Don't get too use to the dark hair as it is going bye bye on Friday and I will post a new hairdo in a new color!
It is good to have made the decision to return and I am looking forward to playing catch up!0 -

I haven't been able to weigh myself on my regular scale because I haven't had any heat in my apt since Thursday and I've been staying at my boyfriend's. He doesn't have a digital scale and it's driving me crazy! So because of that I don't have an official weigh in yet because I like to keep to the same scale, however while i was home yesterday getting some clothes and stuff for today I jumped on the scale and it said 187.5 in the middle of the day!!!! I'm trying not to get too excited because it could have just been a fluke but that would mean i'm down 1.5 lbs this week! As you can tell by all the exclamation points I'm not doing too well with staying calm about this :blushing:
Anyway, I'll officiallly weigh in tomorrow assuming the new furnace goes in today and I get to stay at my house tonight.0 -

Well down this week. Looks like there have been some amazing losses this week, congratulations to all of you. I have to say to you Kandyjo that it is fantastic to see you with 2 very well deserved losses in 2 weeks, you work so hard for this and motivate all of us so much I hope you continue with your well deserved success.

I am worried about Christmas and New Years, so much food and wine I plan to keep doing what I can to get in my workouts and eat well on the non holiday days but I think I have decided to let loose and enjoy the holidays ( not to any extreme) I just don't want to be staring at my dinner plate Christmas thinking of the calories and fat grams. I find it is already stressing me out, I don't want to worry about it any more!0 -
