Milk, milk, and more milk.

I find all these post about milk lately to be slightly entertaining. I wonder what food or drink will be next on the list of evil things we do to our bodies? Perhaps the all knowing "they" will discover how bad oranges are for us, they are awfully acidic... and all that sugar... man bad stuff. What do you think?

Fruit is terrible for you. Want proof? Everyone who has eaten it has eventually died.

I think oranges are very bad. That stuff in the skin is oil and that is fat and that will probably make me fat.
I think I'll go eat a cookie instead.0 -

This is so TRUE. Never eating fruit again! Let me go post this on another website!0 -
Last year it was bananas.0

Last year it was bananas.
Yeah, it was funny seeing all the "bananas make you fat" threads last year. I guess Dr. Oz said something about it at some point.
Bananas with a light drizzle of honey and a pinch of confectioner's sugar baked until soft.... NOMS0 -

I love milk. Love it! I've started to drink a lot more of it lately. I've also lost a ton of weight and have kept it off.
After I lift, my body craves milk. Practically demands it! It's a great source of protein.
I don't see any reason to avoid milk, so long as you're not allergic, lactose intolerant, or have some underlying medical condition that prevents proper digestion of milk. Yes, our bodies were not originally designed to digest cow's milk, it's relatively new to our diet (beginning in northern Europe, I believe). However, we did adapt, we did evolve to process it. So if you can handle it, enjoy!
In fact, I'm about to go make a nice banana/strawberry smoothie with milk and whey (another milk byproduct!) as I write this. Then off to the gym to lift, then more milk...

You mix bananas with honey?? That sounds extremely dangerous!
I bet you run with scissors too!0 -

I'm living on the edge!
I guess I should also confess that I eat eggs with yolks and a side of milk with my baked bananas sometimes. BWHAHAHAHAH!0 -
*In my best Jerry Seinfeld voice*, "And what is the deal with eggs? Worse than cigarettes!?"
But, seriously. Since I joined MFP, I actually eat breakfast, and I like eggs. Are they really killing me? I always add veggies to them...!
Edit: You haven't had bananas and honey until you've sprinkled coconut on top! That was dessert in our house growing up!0 -

Food porn!!
I saw one suggestion to take a kit-kat, crumble it in the middle of a banana and microwave.....I so need to try it.0 -
I learned long ago any naturally produced or grown product is no harm to you in moderation and an overall healthy lifestyle... besides Rumchatta is a cream (dairy) based product!0

ORANGES HAVE FAT?!?!?!!!!
Sneaky *kitten* diet ruining ninjas!
So tired of things that have 'hidden fats' and 'hidden sugars'. Why can't they just come in a little packet on the side so I don't have to eat them!!!
Is it ok if I want to kick Dr Oz in the nuts? Yeah, he says some really true things but surely he realises his timeslot (in the AUS) has taken over Oprah and all her die hard crazy lady fans are sitting waiting with the insane pores open ready to soak in the next load of fanatical bullcrud.
I wish I could blame milk for my allergies. Some nutbag said it caused allergies. No d!ckhole, I was born with allergies. Exposing myself to triggers sets them off. If I cut out bee stings from my life, surely I'll stop being allergic! Cause ya know, that'd be ace.
Eff me, surely people realise that banging on about their thoughts and why they do things will not get others to change. Specially when they bring out the scaremongering or conspiracy theory tactics.
It's the internet. I'm sure no matter what I thought I could find some jerkoff with a degree who thought the same and blabbed about it somewhere. Doesn't make what I think right for everyone.
I also wonder if they find themselves ironic when they preach about being natural and organic and you see their diaries and they have a diet that's seen more machines than a mine pit.0 -

Omg... I have two fish that I let live in water! I'm probably killing them unintentionally.
I should remove them from that chemical water immediately!0 -

All sarcasm aside, this is so true,! My clean eating friends take a crapton of supplements! You'd think they would believe in their body's ability to get enough off their highly nutritious diet.0 -
Water is a vital component of nuclear reactors. Anything that's involved in nuclear fission is not something you should be consuming. It's also an industrial solvent and degreaser. Water is definitely some nasty stuff.
Drink milk instead, at least a gallon a day. Mark Rippetoe says so.0 -
yes water is bad. It makes me tingle downstairs and then causes me to leak!0
