implanon and weight loss

hello :)
i have the implanon birth control and was wondering if having this in my arm is reason for not being able to loss weight. i had it in for the 3 years after i had my first daughter and wasnt able to lose weight until like 2 years after having it in and now i got it in this time after my second daughter was born and shes now 16 months and havent been to lose weight. I was running on the treadmill for a month and a half and lost some weight but now am having issues with my knee and cant do that anymore...any advice ?

    Both my sister and I have implanon implants, I haven't found it to be an obstacle to losing weight, and she actually lost over 20lbs when she changed from the pill to implanon (and she does not diet or exercise, it is so unfair!). So it is not necessarily playing a role in your difficulties losing weight, but that being said everyone is different, especially when it comes to hormone therapies.
