What food or drink have you NEVER had? For whatever reason.

I have never had:

1 A glass of milk. Don't know what it tastes like. Can't even tell you if I like it or not.
2 A cup of coffee or Hot or cold tea. See reason for milk.
3 Oatmeal. Same as 1 and 2

    I haven't had a lot of things...

Never any food from other countries, since I've never been there.
I hate seafood, but I've tried a lot of it.
    Never Rocky Mountain Oysters

If you are asking me, feel free to view my diary. It is open for all to see. I track everything as accurately as humanly possible and I hit the gym.

LOL at the insects. I worked with a nut job that was into survival and he had insects on the job one day and I actually ate one.

I know that they are staples, even delicacies in some cultures. Fortunately, I've never visited a country where I'd be offered them.

Brains, sweetbreads (that's the thymus gland, whatever that is..), kidneys, spleen, testicles - all those yummy organs that Bourdain and Zimmern seem to enjoy with gusto. I'm not into organ meats unless it's neatly disguised. Like haggis! I just LOVE haggis - every year at the Scottish Highland games I gotta have my haggis!

I've never had shrimp or mushrooms in my entire life. No specific reason. I just don't think I will like them.

I refuse to eat veal or lamb or duck and since I was 13 I haven't had any pig products.

    Not eating them is understandable.
I have been in Hotels with "no Durian allowed" signs. In five languages.
I have no idea how someone found out you could eat them.

That's one of the few relatively well known foods I've never eaten. I care about how things smell, so I probably wouldn't think it was worth it to get past the odor. If someone offered me one, I'd try it.

Me to all of this except Haggis. Don't know what that is!

Won't ever try organs. Sorry. I'm all for trying new things, but no thanks. LOL My husband actually tried liver once at a Japanese Hibachi restaurant. It was, of course, done up with tons of butter, and he actually liked it.

The thought makes me throw up a little in my mouth.

Caviar, frogs, snails, haggis, black pudding, any kind of invertebrate (including shrimp, crab, lobster). Most offal has tasted awful (Hhehe) so I don't bother trying it now.

I’ve eaten foods that are not even legally classed as food (American processed cheese being one of these things) but 90% of what people from the USA all seem to love, I’ve never eaten. Grits and the like
Oh and insects in almost all cases taste of what they are cooked in, so fry locusts in peanut oil and they taste of peanut protein, fry in butter and they taste of butter.

Broccoli ... Sorry, but just the look of it. Same for sprouts.

Avocado ... I keep tasting it because it's a 'superfood' but I just spit it out, nasty texture.

cured tongue tastes very similar despite being different cuts of meat, for those who are afraid to try it... My husband for example wont eat tongue but ive tricked him into eating it and he enjoyed it until he knew what it was lmao, never thought to eat deer tongue as I usually just throw the head to the dogs
