A letter to the evil pants men.
Dear Designers of Shorts,
I would like to begin by stating that I am not huge. I would suggest I could lose 5-10 lbs but I could also stay this size and never be judged. I am just a pear. Your average fruit! Fat booty, slim, if you will excuse the colloquialism.
But here I am, 8 stores later, and somehow not a single pair of shorts has fit my frame. I threw pride out the window- chose sizes from a 6-10 and yet somehow, nothing fits! My butt is flattened in its effort to fit within the fabric, the waist band is 6 inches too big and hanging out the back of my pants to reveal my panties for the day.
How is this possible, you inconsiderate jerks?! I will fully admit that I have a big butt and thick thighs, but it's a butt from genetics and running hills, thighs from deadlifts and squats. How about you take your shorts off the hanger and put them on a woman for once?
Sincerely,
34-26-410 -
lol bet that was frustrating... did you try Lorna Jane or any workout stores that supply womens shorts0

Amen. Word. Church. All of the above. In order to fit my thighs/butt, the waist is huge.0

I am so glad I'm not the only one who has this problem. Although.....you'd think with this many of us who have this problem someone would start making shorts and jeans to fit us!0

yeah, I just don't wear shorts lol0

I have never in my LIFE worn a pair of women's pants. I am an apple shape. If the hips fit, the waist is nowhere close to buttoning. If the waist fits, the hips are flapping like sails. So basically I am straight up and down. I either wear men's jeans and shorts, or I am stuck with elastic waists. So both shapes have nothing that fits. Who makes our clothes?
OP's problem is she has a big difference between butt and waist. My problem is I have almost no difference. Are there even any women in between?0 -

haha me and my big pear bottom can only wear jeans/pants with lots of stretch if I want the waist to fit properly whoever designs the clothes should clearly be fired.0
