It's 210 cal and 6 grams of fat.0

Rule of thumb....if it fits in your goals, eat it0

How much protein? IMHO you are better off with some roast beef than tomato and mayo.0 -
I haven't been to Arby's in quite some time (read: years). Is it possible to find something on their website that is low(er) calorie and still appetizing to you?
Just beware of mayonaise and cheese on your sandwich -- those will really push up the calories.0 -
what about weight??
I don't understand the question.0 -
heck yes eat it.. if u have enough cals .. go head.0

i think they have turkey sandwiches now so i would try one of those. mmmmmm0

Arby's Jr. Roast Beef Sandwich: Calories: 210, Fat: 6g, Sugar 3, Protein: 12g, Cholesterol: 25g, Sodium: 520mg, Carbs: 25g, Fiber 1g
If this fits into your goals, then enjoy.
FYI - They Jr. Turkey and Cheese is NOT much different than the Jr. Roast Beef.0 -
She already had the tomato and mayo sandwich.
In the future, I would eat the arby's sandwich you spoke of. It at least has some protein.0 -

I don't either.
I'm shocked that a sandwich from Arby's has only 210calories, but I say go for it. It will at least have loads more protein than tomatoes and mayo! As long as you're not way over for the day you're good.0 -
Well, a tomato with mayo sandwich is probably about the same, or more. Sara Lee 100% whole wheat classic bread, 2 slices = 150 cal. 1 Tb mayo = 100 cal. 1 Tomato, sliced = about 15 cal. So you end up at 275. The Arby's probably has more protein and may hold you for longer, and you can always have a tomato by itself later to bump up the vitamins.0

you should always choose the meal that has more protein. the arbys is much better than the sandwich you mentioned. thats the healthiest sandwich ive found on the arby's menu also.0

Jr. sandwhich.
Mayo = no0 -
Ok thanks guys!!!!! JR rostbeef it is.0

Don't forget to check the sodium level.... there is 520 mg of soduim in that one little sandwich...0
-
it has a ton of protein and you should NEVER make mayo one of the ingredients on a sandwich!0

Providing you understand very well what is in it and that you are about to ingest a sodium bomb.0 -
Well I would typically prescribe to you the roast beef. However, Arby's roast beef is not beef at all. They make the "meat" from a gelatin mix and then bake it and slice it. It is not real meat.
Trustworthy source please. While it's not fresh from the butcher and is more processed, of course it's meat.
Yes, eat the Arby's! I frequently get a JR and only eat half the bun, but all of the meat. Yum.0 -
Yes you should eat it. That is not that many calories and a big greasy cheese burger would be much worse so if you want fast food, go to Arbys!0

hmmmm curly fries....0

Mmmmm....jalapeno poppers!0

Please dont listen to this trash.0 -
What about a smoothie or a grilled chicken sandwich from Mc Donalds??0

What about a smoothie or a grilled chicken sandwich from Mc Donalds??
Those would both likely have more calories than the Arby's Jr. Though grilled chicken is likely a larger sandwich and would be more filling. You can find all the info on McDonald's website for calories and such.0 -
What about a smoothie or a grilled chicken sandwich from Mc Donalds??
The real question is why fast food?
As people have said, if it is within your calorie goals...do it, but you can get so much more out of non junk food for your calories worth.0 -
Take her up on the Arby's sandwich AND the grilled chicken sandwich. Then take the tomato you were going to eat from the tomato/mayo sandwich and put it on the grilled chicken sandwich. Voila! You now have two pretty decent sandwiches with a good bit of protein and the fresh tomato Don't do the mayo. Unless you just love mayo. Forget that smoothie... it's mostly sugar.0
