First and formost I am a mom too to 3 little monkeys 5, 6 and 8 (2 girls and the littlest one is a boy), hardest job ever!!! But my main profession is that I am a classically trained singer (masters degree in opera performance from a conservatory in the states). I have sung for the opera in the US, but now I am doing more singing with my Jazz trio, singing for churches, and weddings as well as parties, and I looooove dressing up in Victorian costumes to sing in the streets around Christmas. I loooooooove what I do for a living, just with I could do a loooooot more of it. I live in Denmark but I am am from the US so establishing myself here after a career there has not been easy but it is coming slowly but surely.

  • I am a Licensed Fire and Casualty Insurance Broker for the State of California. I work on the Property and Casualty Commercial Lines Wholesale side of the biz. Sometimes I dabble in the P&C Commercial retail side of it. I favor working on the wholesale side directly with insurance carriers and retail agents. Working as a retail agent directly with insureds -- not so much. But yes, I do like it very much. I am working on my insurance RPLU and CPCU designations right now and should be done in 2013. My goal is to eventually work as an underwriter for a non-admitted surplus lines insurance carrier one day soon.
