Skim milk, egg whites, whatever meat is on sale, bacon, oatmeal or cereal, whatever frozen vegetables are on sale, frozen yogurt, green peppers, spaghetti squash, low-fat mozzarella, and either Greek yogurt or cottage cheese.

I kinda just buy what's cheap most of the time. :)

This post is very convenient! I posted my own grocery list on my status today because I'm literally outta food, haha! Here's what mine looks like and I even have CABBAGE on the list ;)

Pork tenderloin, Chicken and AAA sirloin beef still stashed in my freezer so - good on that front! I also always have an assortment of nuts available (walnuts, almonds and peanuts). For when my sweet tooth hits I have peanutbutter, nutella and a small bag of semi sweet chocolate chips (which I haven't had to open yet!!)

Personally, I TRY not to do too many starches as far as bread, pasta and rice but if you're doing all those think whole grains :)

    My list:
Eggs, Yogart, Avacado, Salsa, Lettuce, Spinach, Almond milk, Potatoes, Tomatoes, Kale, Apples, Lemon, Pear, Pom juice, Carrots, Beets, Cabbage & Bananas

    Good luck with the shop!!
    Cheers
  • So, generally:
    Any organic fruit
    Any organic vegetable
    Any bean or seed
    Any low GI grain
    Unsweetened soy milk
In my case, any fresh seafood that's not on Monterey Bay Aquarium's no-no list (I'm a vegan that eats seafood)
