Because the statement "anything above 20 is cardio" is so broad and a big generalization that as a teacher shouldn't be said, or should be explained better.0 -

Excellent!! Hey I was pretty ignorant when I got to MFP but I'm learning;) By the way, before anyone who doesn't think weight-lifting is better than anything else, ignorant just means a lack of information. I read and read, researched what the experts were saying and when I balanced it all out, weight training took the Gold!

Because the statement "anything above 20 is cardio" is so broad and a big generalization that as a teacher shouldn't be said, or should be explained better.
He meant that anything over 20reps with 3 or more sets (endurance whilst lifting lighter weights, with higher reps with short rest periods) counts as cardio because you are expending the muscles on the same thing for such a long time.
