WTF. Hell no. I don't run.
Why can't a woman look sexy and strong without being stereotyped as a cardio maniac?

This is why we can't have nice things guys, there is chalk all over the place, someone stole my wrist wraps, and I don't want to walk to the water fountain to fill my bottle because I'm wearing my Olympic shoes and I'm paranoid I'll break them if I walk too far in them!0

Yes, a balanced fitness program is clearly wrong. I like to just do a bunch of deadlifts and then never accelerate past a trudging gait the rest of the day. Works great. Stretching is bad too.0

Try a 260 pound sled pull up and down a parking lot on an incline - just once and I swear your heart will be flying out of your chest - at least mine was...

Thats awsome! Lol, I just decided to cut my cardio day for a rest day. I don't want a runners body.....I want a lifters body, so why would I run and not lift?0

Consider this: Dr. Kenneth Cooper (author of Aerobics, The New Aerobics, Aerobics for Women), the US. Air Force Cardiologist who coined the term "aerobics" (meaning a form of exercise) and has promoted their use for over 25 years now admits that he was wrong! According to Dr. Cooper, further research has shown that there is no correlation between aerobic endurance performance and health, longevity, or protection against heart-disease. He will admit, however, that such activities do carry with them a great risk of injury. Further, he admits that gross-overuse activities such as running may be so damaging to the body as to be considered carcinogenic.

Just because something raises your heart rate, doesn't necessarily make it cardio...
Also- lifting weights above head height automatically highers your heart rate whilst doing the lift no matter the amount of exertion.0 -
Strongly disagree. Anything that puts your CV system under stress is cardiovascular exercise. Lifting isn't much different to HIIT, hence the similarility in muscular development in sprinters as to lifters.
