Yep, every motnh I gain at least 2 pounds. It's al water retention so it comes off pretty quickly.

I've heard that taking calcium supplements can help lessen that so I bought some last month I'm going to see if it helps,

Yes, every time. I have learned to stay away from the scale during that time.

Well I hate pms. Feels like I've been doing that for the past three weeks now! I'm sixteen days late on my period and negative pregnancy test (I really thought the doc messed up on hubby LOL). Still waiting for "Aunt Flo" to show. :noway: Sigh. Hormones. :grumble:

Diet and extreme exercise can cause you to not have a period........ask you doctor if this is the case.

I have a 2 lb gain every time, guaranteed. I also feel bloated and gross. While I don't avoid the scale, I'm aware of this and actually use it as a way to track when my TOM is going to show up. It's guaranteed to come off right after.

I started exercising less then a month ago. Last week I was hungry all the time and felt sluggish the whole week while exercising. I thought it was because I was pushing myself to hard. This week I feel completely different. Good to know it's only Mother Nature at her finest.

I had to have a hysterectomy pretty young, but I'm still hormonally cycling, since I have my overies. It's sort of frustrating, since I don't know exactly when my "un-period" (as my DH calls it) is anymore. Therefore, if the scale is up, I'm not sure if it's TOM bloating, or what! :(

I think it's more about whether you've ever weighed yourself regularly. I never had pre-mfp, so I wouldn't have known about the extra weight.
