    Apples.

Most other foods I don't need to buy EVERYTIME, but with 3 kids who all love apples (plus me- who loves apples)- We need to replenish our apply supply each store visit.

Other frequent purchases are: beans, ground turkey, spinach, frozen berries, random veggies, bread (which I almost never eat but my husband can go through a couple loaves a week it seems!), Nuts (almonds, pecans, whatever) Bubbly Water- we go through LOTS of bubbly water!

And flour. My son loves to cook/bake pizza crust, cookies, big soft pretzels, scones, etc....

    36 lbs of cheese.

    NOTHING ELSE.

But you gotta have some beer with that don't you? An otherwise perfect list.

Here in Colorado, you can only get crap 3.2% alcohol beer at the grocery store, some weird holdover from prohibition. So beer is never "officially" on the grocery list.

That sucks. Colorado is the home of two of my favorite breweries (Left Hand and Avery).

I know! It's actually kind of a good thing- because no one really buys beer at the grocery store, we've got some really-well stocked liquor stores with every type of beer you could imagine. I guess legislators have tried to pass laws to sell full-alcohol beer in the grocery stores but they keep getting shut down because all the liquor stores would go out of business. But it is ironic that the beer-brewing capital of the U.S. can't even sell their beer at the grocery store.

Now Texas- you wanna talk good stuff? Lets talk about your states ice cream and BBQ. OMG.

I recently started juicing (not a juice fast), so my basket at the grocery store has changed tremendously. Now it's usually cucumbers, lemons, apples, pears, oranges, beets, ginger root, lettuce, spinach, bananas, carrots, pineapple, chicken, nuts, long-grain brown rice... oh, and protein powder. I'm sure I'm forgetting something, but that's the gist of it for the most part.

Taking in so many veggies has really been great. I mean, as my body purges the crap in favor of the goodies from the veggies/fruit, not so much, lol. But afterwards, I feel great and have a lot more energy.
