I recently started juicing (not a juice fast), so my basket at the grocery store has changed tremendously. Now it's usually cucumbers, lemons, apples, pears, oranges, beets, ginger root, lettuce, spinach, bananas, carrots, pineapple, chicken, nuts, long-grain brown rice... oh, and protein powder. I'm sure I'm forgetting something, but that's the gist of it for the most part.
Taking in so many veggies has really been great. I mean, as my body purges the crap in favor of the goodies from the veggies/fruit, not so much, lol. But afterwards, I feel great and have a lot more energy.0 -
