I started in April of 2011 at 285 lbs and a 40 inch waist. Now, I am down to 196 lbs and a 32 inch waist.

I haven't had a 32" waist since I weighed 155 pounds. I could not wear a leather belt because I had no muscle or fat on the points of my hip bones. :) I wore bandana belts.

I'll be happy if I get to 34, maybe 36 again.

By the way, in Japan, private employers are required to measure the waistline of every employee each year. They are fined if they have too many employees with a waistline measuring over 32". :noway:

I started on April 25, 2011 at 351 lbs, diabetes, sleep apnea (with a CPAP), high blood pressure and could barely walk a mile.
Today, I weigh 182 lbs, no diabetes, no longer need a CPAP, normal blood pressure, a resting heart rate in the mid-40's and can run over 5 miles at a shot! Never thought I'd be able to say that!

Here is my most recent BA pic. I walk 4 mileser day 4x a week plus I am a soccer referee and also coach. I'm generally active. I pay the most attention to my calorie intake with MFP. I avoid processed sugars as well as fried and fatty foods. MFP has really brought awareness to how I eat and really changed my life. Enjoy the pic.

Well, here's mine. Started out way back then half-assing a diet and half-assing working out. Then, after kiddo #2 was born in October, 2010, my wife and I decided to get serious. I was 276 in January, 2011, found MFP, never looked back.

I run 3-4 times a week, totaling about 24 miles per week. a day of cross-fit type stuff thrown in there. I still eat "bad" foods, I still drink beer. I still have a good time every once in a while, just not as often as I used to.

EDIT: It's clipped (right-click --> view image), but the right-hand side says "Labor Day 2012, 157 pounds)
