8oz in a cup in the US. So every glass you drink of tea is 8oz or so depending on the cup size. But general rule of thumb.0 -
I've been drinking 2 a day (without sugar) for nearly a week and it is definitely making a difference to my metabolism, and it cleanses the system too.0

https://www.google.com/search?q=8+ounces+to+cups&rlz=1C1CHKZ_enUS440US440 - Google has a feature where you can type X(measurement) to (measurement) and it will convert it for you. But if you're using "cups" to mean whatever "drinking cup" you have, that could be anything from 6 ounces to 14 ounces, quite a wide range. I'd suggest putting water in measuring cups and seeing how much your drinking cups actually hold.0 -
Oh yeah, Green Tea has magical properties. You can eat anything you want, whenever you want; as long as you're drinking Green Tea you will lose weight.0

wohoo thanks for the links :flowerforyou:0 -
I''m not really sure how helpful it is. I have heard that it makes your metabolism faster, but I don't know. I drink green tea a couple days a week though because it tastes good and I get tired of drinking nothing but water all the time.0

I just started drinking green tea... not for dieting purposes actually. My mom wanted me to try it and i liked it. It has several health benefits, so why not!
For ME I've found when I drink green tea i feel less hungry and it helps with digestion.0 -
You could take green tea extract as well. I am not sure if green tea really helps with metabolism but it can't hurt...0

at one point I was drinking at least 3 cups a day. A cup before or after every meal and maybe one or two others throughout the day. When I do that, I do notice a bit more weight loss and I've also noticed my waist seems to shrink a bit more. I agree with someone above that it helps digestion as well as bumps up your metabolism.0

Good for you! I haven't been sick for a while and I work at a school! Lol. Anyways, I drink one big cup in the morning (replacement of coffee) and I drink about two-three cups during the day.0

I drink Green Tea, Water and Unsweet tea. Those are my options. Green Tea is great because of the Health Benefits, antioxidants and helps with belly fat as well. Something else to think about is Lemon. Lemon really helps flavor water/tea cold or hot. Lemon is a strong antibacterial, antiviral, immune booster, digestive aid and liver cleanser. It is a citrus fruit rich in vitamin C, it also contains vitamin B, riboflavin and minerals like calcium, phosphorus, magnesium as well as proteins and carbohydrates. If you are not used to drinking plain water, lemon water is an excellent alternative, it adds flavour to your drink and in the meantime provides enormous health benefits. But DO NOT buy the Lemon Juice in the lemon looking bottle. It is fake, use the real thing. I bring a lemon to work with me everyday and leave it on my desk and everytime I refill my water bottle or re up on hot water I squeeze some in. Lemons dont need any refrigeration due to its acidic level, so there is no fear. I would strongly recommend adding lemon to everything.0

No check the ingrediants and sugar level. If it doesnt say just Green tea then dont drink it. One to up to 4 Ingrediant foods are the way to go for any successful lifestyle change. As long as one of those ingrediants isnt sugar or some form of.0

I'm just learning to drink green tea and add Matcha (green tea powder) to smoothies. I recommend adding peppermint tea to green tea for a flavour change. Peppermint tea also helps with digestion and upset stomach.0

I don't know if it works or not but a friend of mine who lost over 100 lbs swears by it and takes it in capsule form. I don't think there's any magic bullet. Green coffee is the latest fad. It usually comes down to calories in versus calories burned.0
