    Lagunitas

But I'm still partial to Anchor Steam, possibly one of the original microbrews.

    Where's this made?

Sorry, I checked out of this thread for awhile.

Lagunitas is in Petaluma north of San Francisco.
Anchor Brewery is in San Francisco

I like Firestone too. A while back I picked up a mixed case at Costco and really enjoyed it-DBA was my fave.

Lonerider Brewing (Raleigh, NC). If you like dark beers, their Sweet Josie Brown is amazing.

Aviator has a great selection. Lonerider is good, but for a brown, try Bad Penny from Big Boss (also in Raleigh). If you get a chance, check out Four Saints Brewery out of Asheboro. They will be in Pittsboro for the chili festival soon. Their "Stout One" has to be, hands down, the best stout I've ever had. I'll put it up against Great Divide/Southern Tier, etc.

NC has an incredible craft/microbrew culture.

Kernel Brewery here in London!!! I have yet to try one of their beers that wasn't totally amazing- http://thekernelbrewery.com/

I'm from the US originally, and I'm getting nostalgic (and thirsty) reading about some of my lovely old favorites- Bell's Oberon, Vanilla Porter, 312, etc...

    yummy!!!!

OHHHH I love Leine's!! I miss living in Milwaukee!!

Here in Philly we have a lot of really good ones ... Victory Brewing is a favorite, as is Weyerbacher (in Allentown, PA), Dogfish Head (down in Rehoboth, DE), Yards in Philly, Round Guys in Lansdale, PA and Triumph Brewery in New Hope/Philly/Princeton.

    Stag - ROFL

    Stella Artois A.B.
  • Oh my goodness, San Diego has too many to mention, which is why I just joined! I think the line between "micro" and "national" is sort of tough to call, so I'll just say I'm into craft beer. Particularly San Diego craft beer.

My homebrew is by far the best beer I can get here in town. Memphis pretty much sucks as far as breweries go - stupid taxation system for microbrews. But I do live within walking distance of our only brew-pub (Boscos), and their beer isn't too bad.

As for other craft beer, surprised no-one has mentioned Pliny the Elder yet. Yum

I'm surprised I'm the first Coloradan here.
    My favorite local breweries are:

    New Belgium
    Avery
    Boulder Beer
    Left Hand

I'm surprised I'm the second from the Napa Valley of beer. We're such snobs about it! Maybe it's because everyone in Colorado is skinny--no need for MFP! :)

I love all of the above, but Great Divide's Titan IPA is my beer of the summer.

Squatters Outer Darkness with pumpkin pie was my dessert last Thanksgiving. A really good beer and a perfect pairing.
