    Mine has a bit of an odd origin, because my boyfriend's ex is rather unbalanced and has followed me to every site like this that I have used. I chose the username RisingAboveIt here because I am rising above the childishness, pettiness, and negativity of people like her in my life and using them as examples of what NOT to be!

    Bamsie - childhood name, family used that since I was born, my uncle came up with it as a nickname for bambino (baby) then it became bambsie, now its bamtrie ! (just evolves with time)

    Ekhaya - translates to "home" or "house"

    so BamsieEkhaya basically means "baby home" but I'm looking at is at to "I'm coming home but just finding myself first"

    when i was a tot, i used to sit in the garage and watch my dad work on his cars and bikes...he started calling me sprocket because he said i was an essential part of the big machine (just like the tiny gear) i love that , have used it ever since ... :)

    I read that as "I used to sit in the garbage"
