    I'm so glad I'm not the only white one. I got told today that I'm mismatched because the color of my off white shoes is just a slight difference from my skin. And yes, you should go for it. Slowly...

    Short timer...reference to how long someone will remain at their job...also referred to as "dead man walking" in some circles...if someone is leaving a company either thru retirement or new job they usually get 50% effort up till they leave.
