    Sheesh, I came back to this thread to see funny responses and am alarmed by the sheer stress it caused one person.

    Now I just need to admit to being the worst mom ever because I actually pick on my 6 year old son!

    In my opinion, this has been the most entertaining and enlightening post in the MFP forums today. That said, the bar was set pretty low.

    No, quite honestly I don't get offended a lot or very easily. I do however find you offensive. I am neither joyless or a curmudgeon but very kind of you to use such nice words to describe somebody you don't agree with. You should not be so ignorant as to what consitutes bullying. Questions are asked on here all the time that seem stupid and people like you don't hesitate to jump all over it and then say... oh all in fun. I don't believe, for a second, this was anything less than making fun of the last few people that asked a question about what counts as "water". It must be great to be you and know everything.

Also, the OP them self has told you they weren't directing this at anybody when they posted it. If I make that joke about a man walking into a bar, am I deliberately bullying anyone who has ever actually hit their head on a bar, even when I don't know anyone who has done so?

    I used very tame language based on my experience of you thus far. If being called a joyless curmudgeon offends you, then I fear your denial of being easily offended becomes hard to believe.

    Finally, yes, it IS great to be me, thanks. Mainly because my sense of humour is fully functional but also because I am so god damned handsome
