    My staple foods...

    1. Old fashioned Oatmeal
    2. Chocolate protein powder
    3. Cottage cheese
    4. Plain yogurt- greek or regular
    5. Laughing cow light cheese wedges
    6. Chicken breasts
    7. Spinach, broccoli, cauliflower, mushrooms (actually about any veggie!)
    8. Bananas, apples, berries
    9. Fresh salsa
    10. Skim milk
    And I can't stop at 10!
    11. Unsweetened cocoa powder (to make cocoa w/ skim milk and Stevia!)
    12. Naturally More Peanut butter
    13. Nuts- almonds, walnuts, pistachios, peanuts...
    14. Balsamic vinegar and olive oil (for salad dressing!)
    15. Low-carb whole wheat wraps
    16. COFFEE!!! (should probably list that as #1! :laugh: )
    17. Sweet potatoes
    18. Spices such as garlic powder, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, ginger, lemon pepper, etc)
    19. Brown rice
    20. Beans- black, kidney, white, fat-free refried

    Those are some of the main things that I always have on hand! :drinker:

    I haven't tried the yogurt as sour cream but now that you say it, it does taste like sour cream before adding sweetener! I'll try that; thanks!!

    And I like the living lettuce because it lasts SO much longer than normal lettuce. If I buy pre-cut lettuce or bagged baby spinach, it goes bad in just a few days. This living lettuce can last like 2 weeks. I like to keep it around for sandwiches (which I eat everyday!) and I use the bagged stuff if I know I will eat a lot of salads.

    ooohhh thats good to know, I'm awful at eating lettuce, I buy a bunch with all good intentions of having salads... but really I dont like salads so it just sits in the fridge until I decide I would just LOVE to have a sandwhich with some lettuce and I reach in the drawer and pull out slimy grossness... my husband pretty much forbids me to buy lettuce!
