    My wife got an into with Abblasen (more commonly known as the CBS News Sunday Morning show theme song). Then went into the Prince of Denmark's March (aka Trumpet Voluntary). Our church just had installed a new pipe organ. I was never was a big fan of traditional music for a wedding but when that trumpet hit with the organ jumped in later and I got to look at my wife for the first time, it was so magical.

    Well we haven't decided on the song to walk down the aisle but our walking back song is going to be "I'll Be the One" by the Statler brothers, in honor for my great grandmother who sadly won't be with us.

    We've been trying to pick our walking down the aisle song in honor of his grandfather but it's proving difficult.

    You know, I played that song for my fiance because I've always been soooo in love with it. It brings tears to my eyes every time. So I was hoping that he would like it, because I was thinking we could use it for our first dance. I had this dreamy image of the whole thing in my head.

    .....he didn't like the song. I was really disappointed. He actually felt guilty afterwards because he knew I really wanted him to like it. But, what can ya do? He still says we can use it if that's what I want, but now that I know he doesn't like it, of course we won't use it. We'll find something we both love.

    Rant over. Long story short, I LOVE THAT SONG!

    The first time I heard that song, I wasn't really paying attention. I just thought, "Hmmm, 80s hair band type song. Never heard it." Then I actually started listening. Then I downloaded it immediately. Steel Panther is hilarious.

    Our wedding song was 'I Cross My Heart' by George Strait.

    My hubby is a musician and actually wrote the song that I walked down the aisle to. He played mandolin and his best man played guitar as I walked down the aisle. It was very special. :love:
