Running.... water?

I love my fuel belt! Mine holds four 8oz water bottles and it doesnt bother me when I run. I also like having a place for my key and my cliff shot blocks. I dont use it if I run 5 miles or less, but anything more than that and I really need the water. I hate hand carrying water bottles - feeling the water slosh back and forth actually bothers me a lot!0

I'm a beginner runner, so I definitely need the water! My throat gets very dry if I don't drink water. I guess I should also focus on breating out of my nose too so my throat doesn't hurt.
If it's just because of a dry mouth you can just get some sugar free jolly ranchers and suck on those while you are running. I had to do that at first too. My mouth still gets dry now, I just don't think about it anymore until I'm almost done and...well...then I'm almost done
I like to chew gum while I'm running to help with that. And wearing chapstick works as well.
This. I chew gum. I have a camelback, but I use it for biking/hiking and haven't taken it running yet. I have a 10 mile training run coming up and I picked a route with several water fountains along the way so I'll stop at those as needed.
But the gum takes care of any dry mouth. On runs longer than an hour, I pack an extra piece in my SPIbelt and swap it out halfway. Improves my pace0 -

I start a small piece of gum and then just when it's chewed up enough, tuck it in the side of my cheek... don't chew it anymore and it stays flavorful for over an hour and keeps my mouth watering enough not to need water breaks. Of course this assumes you are running a suitable distance not to "need" water for hydration.0 -

That's what I do as well. I only chew on the gum occassionally. It seriously helps you get rid of the "need" to drink some water.0 -
I wear a camelbak fanny pack. It keeps my back from overheating, and holds enough water to run a half marathon.0
