I use a magic bullet and it is SO easy. Best little random "as seen on TV" purchase ever.

This. One of the best buy I've made for 2012. So easy to use and very child proof(if you're wondering.) I don't know how people who eat healthy get by without a delicious smoothie to go along with their day.

Magic Bullet is what I have and it's great!!

love my smoothie....I use frozen fruit as well.
    1cup unsweetend almond milk
    1cup raspberries frozen
    1 frozen peach
    2tbsp almond butter
(sometimes I add a single serving vanilla no fat yogart)

But I do add other things as well, spinich, or change fruit around.

I have never used a recipe for a smoothie. I use banana or yogurt, or both, for a base, add some hemp protein powder or hemp seeds, add whatever fruit we have, or honey if there's no convenient fruit, add milk or hemp milk, or chocolate hemp milk, or sometimes juice or water, until it's drinkable.

I love the Magic Bullet too because I'm the only one that ever wants a smoothie, so it's easier to make just one serving than with the blender.

My favorite smoothie ever is Peanut Butter Banana and it is loaded with protein.

    1/2 banana
1 tbsp lowfat skippy peanut butter
    1 c. unsweetened 40 cal almond milk
    1 c. vanilla protein powder
    1/2 c. nonfat cottage cheese
    ice

Creates the perfect balance of sweet and salty. I crave this often, and it satisfies that wicked sweet tooth that follows me around! With the protein powder I use it was around 39g protein. I also use the Magic Bullet and it fits just fine. Yum-o! I think I need to go make one now.....
