I would guess that was actually lactic acid buildup in your muscles.

Well my body heat rises and according to Leslie Sanson....that is starting the burning process. Plus when you do a good cardio work out over 30-45 minutes, your body continue to "burn fat" for a few hours after your workout. It's a good feeling actually.
Actually, your body burns fat 24 hours a day, not just when you work out or a few hours after.

And unless you have a fever, your core temperature is not rising.

Your core temperature can rise while working out. You don't have to have a fever for this to happen.

But it can't hurt right? IMO go get yourself a little pneumonia and hit the gym because that's some serious burn right there. Just make sure to where your HRM so you can log those calories and then eat them all back.

Not really as it contains grains and dairy and that kinda stuff is why we're fat

tightness = fat burning. slight pinch= simple carbs burning. a tickle= complex carb burning. radiating burn= muscle burning.

j/k of course. look- you are burning fat no doubt, but you can't feel it. its an expression.

You need a hotter metabolic fire to metaboburn grains and dairy. If you chug some Everclear prior to your work out your metabolic fire will be extra stoked and ignite the alcohol which will in turn ethanoboburn the grains and dairy. Problem solved.

    Edit: I misspelled ethanoboburn

Except for when you're sleeping. You're whole body pretty much shuts down when you sleep - heart stops beating, respiration stops, etc.

WHAT??? No this is not correct - gosh you are funny - it is joke right???:ohwell:

    I never joke.

Sleep shutdown of metabolism is the reason narcoleptics can't lose weight.

That brings up a good point. The fact that you can light your farts is proof that you can feel your fat burning.

I read through all 3 pages of this - I can't stop laughing. My giggles are getting more and more frequent and my roommate's giving me the strangest look.

So...if all this is true, why didn't I smell like graham crackers today at the gym? :( Or s'mores... I'm a little disappointed.

You did. Just like you can't always tell that your farts stink, you can't always tell what scent is being emitted by your metaboburn. Everyone else got hungry for s'mores while you were working out.

Hoh man. New favorite game in the gym: eat different foods every day and use my metaboburn to make everyone else hungry around me! After all, the best way to lose weight is for everyone else around me to gain it, right?
