Dean Winchester. So what it's a guy? I want to be a smexy monster hunter too!
I totally get it. Many of my role models are men, too... I just identify more with the way men live their lives. I guess I live on that divide between acting like one of the guys and being a powerful woman. I try to embody the best of both worlds in order to be who I really am, and not worry too much about what other people think.0 -
Pippy Longstocking. Always and forever. That girl could do anything. She was unstoppable.0

- Suzie Shooter (Simon R. Green)

edited to fix spelling errors...0 -
As far as male role models go, Robert Heinlein's character Lazarus Long has been a huge influence on my philosophy of life. I read "Time Enough for Love" when I was a teenager, and it was a revelation.

Zoe Washburn for the win.
I know, isn't she incredible? She's the rare strong female character who gets to have it all, too.
While the power was out for 12 days, I fired up the DVD player (generator) and watched the entire Firefly series with my landlord's 17 year old daughter. Zoe is now one of her fictional role models. It was fun to see her reaction.0 -
Atticus Finch!
