Goal of 20 lbs down by Christmas...any joiners?

Hi everyone,
Just recently getting back at this after an extended summer off. Was doing really well until our family vacation and now need to set a goal for myself to get back on it. The goal is to lose 20 lbs. by December 25th. Looking for others who may want to do this as well. If you are interested let me know and leave your starting weight and goal weight. Thinking of weigh-in's every 2 weeks. Looking forward to it.

Starting weight (as of a couple weeks ago, I'm waiting to weigh myself again until this weekend): 304

I'm totally in!!! I've been maintaining at 195 for a while and jumped on the scale this morning and saw 198...not happy! I just finished doing a P90X style workout and am planning to do them daily mixed in with my obsession which is yoga! My husband and I are also hoping to start a family very soon so I want to get as much weight off as possible before that happens.
Initial weight: 260 Current weight: 198/195 Goal weight by Christmas: 175 Love it

I'd love to do this too. Has taken me 2 years to lose 35 though so i think my chances are slim. I shall def give it my all. im 190 would love to be 170 by then.0

Count me in too, I don't think that I can maintain a 2lb/week loss as atm it's usually less than two, but I would love to be down 20 by xmas.. and then put on a few over the holidays! nom nom nom.

Me too! Just started MFP on Oct. 1st. Currently 5'6", 169, goal weight 149. I was under 150 when I started my current job 5 years ago, slowly gained up to 158, then got pregnant and had a baby Dec. 2009. Want to finally shed my baby weight!

I only have ABOUT 20 lbs to lose...so I don't know if it's possible for me, but I'm IN! I'm starting at about 174 and looking to get to ultimately 155 or so. I'd be happy to get to 164 by Christmas! I'm not sure how to exactly JOIN groups on here...so I'll do my best to find you guys.0
