    A little of both, used to ride working horses bareback! Do you know that that makes your legs reaaaally sore?

    ha ha thats nothing compared to trying to ride a posting trot with no stirrups... have you tried that before?
    But i admire those that can and will ride bareback my horse is far to athletic and challenging of a ride for us to do anything more than a walk bareback!

    Would you all believe it was 70 degrees over the weekend, and we get up this morning to 27 degrees? Crazy, I tell ya!!

    I'm doing ok today. I was kinda grumpy this morning, but I'm pulling out of it.

    Did you know, it helps when you accept the weekend is over, and be thankful today is a new day to start over?

    I'd take 70! Monday's will do that to you! Do you know I am thankful today? Did you know the NE Patriots are going to the AFC finals? :drinker:

    Were those not some exciting games over the weekend? Can I say I am excited for all of our NE fans? But even more excited that Green Bay is outta there!!! The 49ers really stuck it to them, and I believe they will make it to the SuperBowl!!

    Horses are super expensive but worth every penny. If i didnt love my horse (which i paid $5500 CAD for) i would have sent him with one of my coaches down to Florida with the other Trakehner from our barn they are asking $15000 CAD for him i could have easily sold my boy for $25 000 CAD. Wouldnt that be a nice little chunk of change *sigh*?

    Kitten your horse looks so tall in the photos lol or your really short :wink: my boy is sitting at 16hh but he has another year of growing im hoping.

    Bane would you believe me if i told you i have heard every last pun that is stemmed around riding?

    It's been awhile for me too, would love to head up to Ipswich here in Massachusetts and go riding at one of the farms. Does that sound like fun?

    Do you like those hours? I usually work 7-3:30p CST, but this week its 8-4:30 and can you tell I am not thrilled about the later shift?

    Would you believe i had no idea what "bare back" ment aside from horses....? one of the guys at work used to tease me all the time and i didnt get it.

    I like working later, not much of a morning person, don't even work out in the morning. Missy, you were unaware of the term "bare back"...it only pertains to riding, right? :devil:
