As a Krav Maga instructor, it's my job to make people push harder and dig deeper to find that level of aggression that only psychopaths can understand on a daily basis. So...

Five Finger Death Punch will make you feel like ripping the heads off of a pride of lions and gargling their blood. Especially, Bulletproof, The Pride, Death Before Dishonor and I could keep going.

    As for the others:
More Human than Human by Nine Inch Nails - original is by White Zombie, but I prefer the NIN cover version.
Strength in Numbers by Times of Grace
    The Oath by Secrets
    40 Below by Secrets
God of the Mind by Disturbed
    Synthetic by Spineshank
Remember the Name by Ft. Minor
    Resolve by Haste The Day
Delight and Angers by In Flames
The Death and Resurrection Show by Killing Joke

And one of my all time favorites is Give it All by Rise Against - reminds me of my fallen Brothers and makes me push harder than ever. Sometimes songs just have to speak to you and this one does that for me. Good luck!

Rock on! Been teaching it for almost 10 years...if you like the music, then you'd prolly go crazy with our Friday nights! Twice a month we'll break out strobes, fog machines and kill the switch then jack up the intensity level and go force on force with weapons, all level attacks and defenses mixed with chaotic moments of everybody on everybody. And yes, you have to sign the death waiver.

I listen to alot of metal when working out, my playlist includes: High On Fire, Celtic Frost, Slayer, Red Fang, Black Tusk, Amon Amarth, Brujeria, Earth Crisis, Fear Factory, Naplam Death, Sepultura. No Five Finger Death Punch, that's not metal! But to unwind after workout I love listening to Depeche Mode.

You guys are working out to some good stuff!

Mine depends on what I'm doing - dancey stuff for, well, dancing/aerobics, but for biking, walking and everything else it's punk/hardcore/ska/metal (The Ghost Of A Thousand, Cancer Bats, Metallica, AC/DC, The Bronx, Capdown etc etc) and hip hop (Beastie Boys, Atmosphere, Macklemore, Kristoff Krane, POS, Eyedea & Abilities, Sage Francis, Metermaids...). Not going to lie though - both my 30 minute exercise bike sessions last night and this morning were soundtracked only by Gangnam Style...

If you have a smart phone, I just downloaded the COOLEST free app. It's called Songza. I can't even describe how cool it is. It has playlists for EVERYTHING. You can even find the mood you are in, and it will give you a playlist for that. You can find what activity you are doing (talking a walk, romantic evening, relaxing, etc.) and it will give you a playlist for that. It even has a "concierge" that will suggest playlists for what time of day it is!! I just LOOOVE it!

Otherwise, I was just feeling unfulfilled with my playlist too so just for the fun of it, I just randomly found some songs I like with a nice tempo, beat, or speed and created a truly eclectic playlist! NOT your typical workout songs. (I have a very broad range of music interests.) It was a great workout!! (Caution: Some of these songs are "adult friendly", lol.) Here are some of the songs I used for my new playlist:

    Holocene-Bon Iver
    Ghosts-Dirty Vegas
    Fall Down-Toad the Wet Sprocket
    Stereo Love-Edward Maya
    Days Go By-Dirty Vegas
    Crush-Dave Matthews Band
    Criminal-Fiona Apple
    Come on Get Higher-Matt Nathanson
    Breathe-Prodigy
    Best of You-Foo Fighters
    15 Step-Radiohead
    Constant Craving-KD Lang
    Cold-Crossfade
    Closer-Nine Inch Nails
    Burned With Desire-Armin Van Buuren
    Blurry-Puddle of Mudd
    Bitter Sweet Symphony-The Verve
    River Flows in You-Yiruma
    Wicked Games-Chris Isaak
    Whatever it Takes-Lifehouse
    Through Glass-Stone Sour
    Sour Girl-Stone Temple Pilots
    Six Underground-Sneaker Pimps
    Primavera-Ludovico Einaudi
    Aria-Giovanni Allevi
