    The key is to not want one... I swear it! I have NEVER been a 10 - not even close - but I *have* been wanting a little solo time since I was like 16. Back-to-back relationships ever since. I swear guys can smell my craving for independence and it drives them WILD. lol. Seriously, though, guys like their space, so if you want yours too... independence reads as confidence and confidence is the be-all and end-all magnet for men and women alike.

    Because you are gorgeous, hunny... so your lack of luck can't possibly be about your looks. :-)

    It's quite silly putting stuff like this on the net, but sometimes someone can drop a pearler and make you look at what you are doing in a different way. i firmly believe that i cant change other people, however i can change how i respond to other people and thereby bring about change.

    Is it a geographical problem? There are places where the ratio of men to women really work against you.

    Have fun for right now....Don't worry to much about getting the RIGHT man he will come in do time! As for the weirdo's maybe your just as weird but don't know it yet! LOL and the married men who try to get you are weirdo's who got lucky and found someone to attach themselves to! But honestly hun being single isn't bad try to enjoy the time you have alone (even w/ the cats) because pretty soon you'll find yourself pregnant, barefoot, sweaty with 2 kids hugging your knees, a house to clean, cooking over a hot stove, working 24hrs while your RIGHT man is sitting on the lazyboy drinking a budlight and watching sports. Then you'll be wishing you were single and able to get up and go!

    Don't go rushing in.

    OK there are some good relationships around. But there are bad too so take your time, make sure you don't take just any offer or feel inadequate because there are no good offers.

    You are unique, finding a good match for a unique person isn't easy.

    Honestly, i dont think i'm a 10. and if i did, i'd need to be brought down a peg or two because having such a huge ego isn't healthy!

    i do however think that i'm easy going and not completely unattractive from a personality point of view.

    I've been single after a 4yr relationship since march and really wasnt looking - still not ,i'm quite happy in the space i am - but i still sometimes look at friends who are barely out of one relationship and into the other and wonder HOW!! i struggle to meet guys who i like enough to have a relationship with.

    this post was more a throw out to see how many scarcastic comments would come through :happy:

    but guys what does make you go over to a girl?

    The things that prompt me to speak to a girl are:

    1. Energy / Positive Attitude
    2. Body Language
    3. How attractive I find her to be (of course)

    #3 without #'s 1 & 2 makes them awkward.

    And #'s 1 & 2 without 3 may make me talk to them anyway, because they'd be a lot of fun - even if I didn't want to take them out (at first, though I would reserve the right to change my mind later).
