Running/Ear buds

Yes! So awesome. It's like Sputnik on your head.0 -
I use these:
Maxwell Jelleez
The sound is pretty good, and I can cram them in my ears and they'll stay put through a run or on the Stairmaster. I've gone through just about every brand and type of headphones too.
Can't beat this $9 price tag!0 -
Bose makes some awesome ones and they come with 3 different sizes that you can pick from. They are "ear shaped" and I find they stay in quite well (though I walk at 4.2 mph and don't run). All the generic ones fall out when I walk.
I second the Bose headphones! They are totally worth the money!

Hmmm...may look into the Bose now...and it wasn't even my thread!0

*Old thread but no need to start a new one*
I have this issue too. My ears are super small, the hard ear buds literally can't fit into my ear and the ones with the silicone different sized tips (using the smallest I've found) slip out (I seem to sweat a lot around / into my ears! lol). As for the hook over the ears kind, well my ears are too small for those too, I tried them. :grumble:
I've thought about either getting the old school headphones that go over your head & cover your whole ear (although I'm not sure if they'll stay in place while I run) or getting using a headband and looking like I'm stuck in the 80's! (That jack in the box commercial, "that headband looks ridiculous" plays over & over in my head when I think of using one! )0 -
I just bought these because I have the same problem. Especially the smaller ears. They work great. I put them in before I run and I don't have to touch them until I take them out at the end!
Philips ActionFit Earhook Earbuds (Red)
Model:
SHQ3200/28
| Catalog #: 33-944
Bought at radio shack for $29.99. They are waterproof and come in a handy dandy little bag.0 -
I just googled them to see what they look like. I either don't have enough ear for that hook to go over or maybe my ears are too close to my head??? :grumble: But the hook doesn't work for me. :sad:0

Me too on the Bose. I thought and thought before I bought them. Told myself if theres anything I dislike about them I will return them Im am on my 3rd pair in about 3 years. No slipping out, no sweat build up like the ear buds and very comfortable so much so I think there always gonna fall out but they never do.0 -
I just bought these bluetooth ones and I love them. They come with detachable over-the-ear hooks and I find when I'm running on the treadmill, they stay in place even when I get really sweaty. And the price is certainly right!

ETA: They also come with 4 different sets of buds from small to XL so you can choose the ones that fit you the best.0 -
I got tired of the wires getting a short in them and since I use my Droid for my music I went bluetooth a couple years ago and never looked back.... I had the S9's for quite awhile and last year upgraded to the Motorola S10-HD Bluetooth Stereo Headphones. They fit great and have never failed me yet... Best of Luck0
